Today marks 3 weeks of 12/12, so figured why not come in with an update. Why not start it off with a little frost on the gastro pop.
did a heavy round of defoliation tonight on all of the ladies in the flowering chamber. Reading up on schwazzing, 3 weeks seemed to be the optimal time for one last defoliation session. Figured I’d snap some pics of each as I went.
first up is the gastro pop. It is def producing a lot of trichs early in flowering, but I’m fighting leaf curling issues with it and the master kush. This plant def has the most bud sites and has one of the most wild shaped structures out of all of em. Lol. Hopefully the issues will be fixed with this last round of flushing I ran on em tonight.
next up is the socal master kush. This was the original plant I noticed leaf curling on. Thinking it was overwatering, I waited till it effected another plant and knew the issue was present. The nug sites on this plant are looking frosty as well, so I’m not really sure how much of an effect it’s having on bud production, but either way, I’m hoping this 4 gallons total of flushing has corrected it. Only time will tell. Aside from that, I am loving the growth height and stretch of this strain.
next up is the triple cheese. This one has by far been the stretchiest. If I run her again, I’m gonna have to figure out a different way to grow her. She will be getting more training as soon as she recovers from the defoliation and lst tonight.
the pisthash has been one of my favs to grow out. Manageable stretch, really unique leaf shape/curl compared to the others. Thick stems and what seems to be nice thick nugs. Really excited to get this one grown out.
another strain from th seeds is this banana candy krush. And just like the pisthash, she has been very manageable and very easy growing. Based on these two, I’m totally down to grow out th seeds strains again. Hoping the fruitsof the labor are just as enjoyable.
all in all, this grow has went pretty good. I’m gonna be clearing out 6 cuttings from the veg box tomorrow and will have some room to sprout the 3 querkie dragon seeds I was sent recently. The flower chamber is full and the triple cheese is gonna get a little bit of super cropping done. Along with the gastro pop. Hopefully the stretch is over and they will start filling out. I’ve been behind on bloom nutes due to me flushing the soil to decrease the nitrogen levels, but from here on out, they should all be getting a healthy dose of flowering food.
