New Grower Micro Grow Carbon Filter

So your saying one fan pushing air through the charcoal and one fan pulling air from the other side? Ill work on the revision tonight if thats what your saying.
Yes that exactly. Maybe also consider selling a model with fans installed, and connected to the AC/DC adapter, just a thought :)

You also may want to include a bit of charcoal or activated carbon with the filter. Purchase a few containers of it, repackage it with your label on it, and include it, so the user can instantly put your filter to use without having to go out right away to purchase some. It's the little things that make people happy :)

I'll hold off then until I see what you come up with.

Quick question, what sort of material do you use for the filter?

The Prototype is made from PLA plastic, But they will be made from 2 part Resin after its all said and done.

Sounds really cool man. Honestly there is so much potential in the micro grow market, but nobody is providing quality grow boxes, or parts for people to use. 99.99% of them are overpriced, or mass-produced crap. It's nice to see someone trying to change that.

Definitely a market out there for this, when I had my micro grow set up I looked and looked for something like this, had to try make my own which was not ideal lol.

Great idea. The advent of "inexpensive" 3D printers really opens up the door for many ideas that otherwise would never see the light of day. The real issue with small DIY carbon scrubbers is mainly sourcing a fan with enough pulling power to suck a sufficient quantity of air volume through the carbon base. PC fans lack greatly in this capacity. With a carbon base thick enough to provide real scrubbing effect 99.9% of all PC based fans will have nearly 0cfm through the carbon due to lack of pulling power.

What is your opinion on doubling the fans, as in putting one pulling on one side, and one on the opposite side pushing through?
