Heat room outside of tent and warming mats in the tent ..... Mats to have temp controllers.

good luck it can be challenging .....also go to HPS lights with ballast ok floor?

I do have hps or HID's same thing. HPS is the bulb so is MH, They go in HID (High Intensity Discharge). I have old carpet and mat's under tent with house wrap and insulation board on the outside. It's in a 30+40 shop with 14 foot sidewalls. Therefore it is a lot of space to heat. Like I said I have a wood furnace and the shop is insulated but I can't cut or buy enough wood to heat it 24/7. Do to I'm disabled and not extremely wealthy, lol

I got a question on this topic.. I am using a wood furnace to heat my basement and unfortunately the only place I can keep the tent is fairly close to the wood stove I have windows in the basement that are always open to bring fresh air in my temps fluctuate be 70-82 F and about 40/50% humidity plants seem to be happy but the temp can change 3 to 4 degrees one way or the other every few hours. Plants see to be doing okay but just want to know if this will be a issue??
Thanks

The more consistent the better imo. The thing about wood heat is it dries the air out which is your humidity. During veg and the seedling stage especially I would be running a humidifier.

Yea the wood stove doest dry out I’m new to this indoor stuff I was gifted a gorilla tent and 6 Illumitex eclipse light bars.. I’ll be moving tent next week to another spot for more stable temps. I do put water pots on stove to create more humidity it never goes below about 45 rh and 72 f so since I’m new to this can I plz get some suggestions one where I want temp and rh for seedlingsveg stage and than temp and rh for flower for autoflowers?? Thank You

Google VPD chart. If you can't find what you't looking for shout back at me.

Ideal conditions are 68°F night 78°F day with RH >40%/<60% You can error on the high side of temperature quite a bit but if you get too cool all growth will stop. Growth slows when humidity is high or low. I did not read the whole thread so this may have been covered already, rigid foam insulation is easy to attach to the outside of a tent and and comes in different R-Values. I have seen guys with temps much colder than yours keep the tent warm with just the lights in day and an oil filled radiator at nitght. If you are on concrete put foam insulation underneath as well.

If you are talking to me. I have old conveyor belting and old carpet under my tent. Then on the outside I have a vapor barrier house wrap with 1 inch double foil back insulation board that has an R-Value of 6. I also taped all joints of insulation board. I only left one door for access and I have a heavy packing blanket over it. I know it can be done, but I'm not sure it wouldn't be cheaper to put a 4+4 tent in my laundry room and not have to supplement CO2 and everything to run a sealed tent,

My chrome book keeps fing up. What kind of low temps are they dealing with? Lower than 0 degrees f?

I used to run CO² but it did not improve the yield enough to warrant all of the effort.
