Tube Heater for Grow Tent in Winter?

I've been looking at those tube heaters forever since my tent is in a detached garage with no heat. Also in the northeast. They definitely seem to be a UK thing  I've been using a ceramic heater under a table in my tent attached to an inkbird. Electric radiator attached to an inkbird also works well but takes up a lot of space in the tent

That little guy is enough to raise it a few degrees? Do you run an exhaust fan as well?

The surrounding area of the grow space stays about 60 degrees. The little heater is enough for the 2.3x2.3 and the 4x2. I do have one in the 4x4 and it works well enough until the plants get big. It can hold the 4x4 at 68-70 when the lights are off. Exhaust fan is running. When it's full tilt exhaust and lights off I have seen it dip. Not bad for $30 and low wattage. It may work for you depending on how large a space you need to heat and how much.

I have two tube heaters sitting on the floor of the tent both controlled with an Inkbird - works a charm, I think the ones I have are 40w
Personally I think they are great for inside the tent, they fit easily and the heat they give out is mild, but pretty useless outside of the tent for bigger spaces

EDIT: they are 80w and 2ft long (not 40w)

I take it you’re in the UK? Make this a thing in NA!

I wonder if they make adapters that are safe to use? Something I’ll have to look into for sure…Just sketched out by the idea of running space heaters idk
I pretty sure they make adapter for the different types of plugs but I have no clue how safe they are… I get you about running the space heater which is why mine does not go in the tent just outside the tent I feel more comfortable cause I can make sure there is plenty of space around heater

Nice! I’ll do some research later tonight. I’ll share what I find as well
