Things have been a little rough in the grow room lately. I'm pretty sure I've been plagued by Pythium. I think I got it from a store bought house plant that was in the vicinity of some of my seedlings. I've got my plants posted in the infirmary here and waiting on a confirmation of my diagnosis or and alternative one. https://www.autoflower.org/threads/pythium.73265/

Oh no, I am so sorry to read this. Hope someone will be able to give you some pointers to save her! It's always sad to see the plant is sick, give you all the best luck and she will recover soon.

Nice to see you have a sense of humour mate

It does look like Pythium aka root rot, the only thing I could suggest would be to take the plant out of the Solo Cup, was those roots of from that medium and do a very careful repot into a new Solo Cup?

Sorry to see your having issues mate.
Im a hydro grower so i know the dangers of plythium/root rot but its much less common in soil grows also in hydro i can check my roots anytime and see.

Plythium is actually a fungus as im surw you have read yourself. It thrives in damp conditions so try to give the soil a decent wet/dry cycle if possible. Overwatwring will be your worst enemy here.
(I know its not easy in a solo cup)

Anyway i hope she pulls through buddy and hope im not telling you how to suck eggs

Thanks for the feedback guys. I think she maybe recovering, but the damage is done. I was kind of scared to wash out the roots and replant, so I had let her go and stay really dry for an extended period of time. It may have worked, but she really took a beating. Over the next couple days I'll decide if I'm going to finish her out in the solo cup or start a new one if there is still time.

On a positive note, despite all the stress she has been through there is no sign of hermies. Maybe at the end of the day I can chalk this up to a good stress test.

also pal I'm not sure if you know it but that's a tiny cup the ones most are using are well bigger than that it may help your roots this is my size

How many ounces is that ? I think mine holds 16 ounces. I think that's what we are supposed to use... But at this point I wouldn't mind saying mine is actually a 8 ounce !
