New Grower Mephisto Strawberry Nuggets, 4 Assed Monkey & Fantasmo Express x Sour Stomper

DAY 61

Both SNs and the 4AM looking pretty good in the tent. SNs have fattened up nicely and will hopefully continue in that way.
On trichome watch now and I'd say they probably all have around 2 weeks left. Pistils are beginning to turn orange and most trichs are milky with the odd amber here and there.

Topped SN is still my favourite. Pretty frosty and smells fantastic.

Not gonna be an incredible yield but they look to be pretty dense.

Here's our purple pheno, slightly less frosty and an earthier smell but looks good, or at least she looks good to me!

I noticed this little whoopsie on her... Hopefully it's not caused too much damage, though I'm sure it's caused some!

Speaking of fuck ups... I broke my first stem today on the Fantasmo x Stomper, I guess it had to happen at some point, at least it was to a freebie.

Note the side growth on this little mutant though, it's almost like I topped her. I think I'll probably just leave her be as that stem nearly came clean off. We'll see how she gets along. Shit happens!

Hope you're all having a green holiday!

Merry Christmas NiceOption! Your ladies are gorgeous and looking pretty thick! I did something similar to NL1’s main trunk and she got over it, although it wasn’t clear through. These plants are amazing though, and we set them up with near perfect conditions. I expect she’ll surprise you with whatever she does.

Thanks, right back at you!
I'm learning to love these little dwarves a little more each day.

The snapped stem was obviously a bummer, but thanks to people such as yourself and all the good folks here at AFN, i've realised it's not the end. Before I joined I'd probably have thought she was a gonner and at the very least cut the snapped stem off. I owe a lot to this site already!

ps. that pic is amazing!

I found a bunch of fun pics on the internet. Here’s another of my favorites ... just itching for some Christmas lights:

Fantastic looking buds mate, shame about the LST cutting into the main stem, i probably should have said that if you’re putting loads of pressure bending them over to one side you need to make sure to move the tie or whatever every 7-14 days to stop them cutting in.
It seems even the soft rubber twists do it under enough pressure.

Still looking good, if any damage was done it’s just gonna restrict circulation and therefore theoretically cause feeding problems and so forth. In this case it will probs lower yield. On one of my colas of equal dominance that happened to the density is half that to an equally positioned lead branch off the same node. TBF i didn’t even know that’s could happen till the other day!

She’ll recover from the snapped stem most likely at that age as long as she’s had a few xylem and phloem tubes left to feed it!

Looking great in there so like me you’ll have some of the best christmas trees i’ve ever seen!

Merry Xmas or Winter Solstice or whatever you celebrate my friend. Like you i owe a lo to this site and just wanted to say thanks for coming along my escapade!

All the best and peaceful smoke filled holiday!

Cheers buddy! Yeah, my own stupidity... I was aware it can happen and just totally forgot. Unfortunately I suspect it's the reason I keep feeling like the 4AM isn't quite as dense as I'd like her to be. Ah well! She's still alive and I've got another seed to pop. Once she's down I'm going to germ the other one ASAP as I'd really like to see her reach her potential. Terps are on point and whilst it's definitely about quality over quantity, it's still gotta be worth it in terms of electricity costs and all the rest of it.

Counting down the days now, can't wait to have my first taste of Mephisto!

Likewise! Big shout out and a merry Christmas (or whatever) to yourself as well as @Froot n Fuel @Vapo69 @Mañ'O'Green @Iriee Vibez @davisgirl @Dudeski @Giant Flying Wombat @wes @Slater @Need4Weed @MickJ @Nicky Kinicki @Ribbzzy @lunarman @mcpd_refugee @Son of Hobbes and of course @archie gemmill for joining me here. Your advice, input and positive vibes has kept me smiling throughout this grow.

Well, I'm off to start prepping the Christmas lunch. Thought I'd better get that out of the way before medicating. My girlfriend's mum is joining us and will be staying the night in the same room as the plants, it'll be interesting to see what she makes of that! Luckily she was a wild one in her day and I think she's quite keen to have a peek. I suspect the lights and fans might need to be turned off whilst she sleeps though, hopefully it won't cause too much trouble. Obviously not the best point in the grow to sacrifice on airflow...

Merry Christmas bro :pass:
4AM is a resilient little bugger isn’t she? doesn’t seem stressed about being slowly sliced in half :smoking:
Strawbs look gorgeous, especially like the green one too!
have a great time mate
