5/6 have germinated. Toof Decay doesn’t seem to want to join the party. I haven’t given up, but I have dropped another one just in case.

In for the show. You are doing pretty much what I have planned to start shortly, so I will be watching with interest. The soil has been "cooking" for a couple months now. My grow will be smaller, but also in soil at least inspired by @pop22, and with autovalve irrigation.

Good luck with the grow, I hope you score some monsters. :goodluck::pighug:

Seedlings can take a lot of light, the concept of lower light levels for seedlings is a myth. Consider seeds started in an outdoor garden in May. Those newly sprouted seedling are getting blasted with around 1600 PPFD from the moment they break soil. I'd drop those cobs to 18" that would get you to around 500 ppfd. In fact, I think I'll set up one of my auto cobs and measure it's output at various heights. I'll post when I get to trying this.
Aye Aye my friend. Autocobs @ 18”.

Nice toof decay . I just got my toof decay beans a few days ago. I've got my first autopot run going in coco really impressed with them. Good luck on the grow ill be following along:pop:.

So far so good. Maintaining a a consistent 80f/65-70%rh. Toof Decay is a couple days behind. I didn’t want to her self esteem, so I let her sit this pic out.

thank you to @St. Tom & @pop22 for the suggestion to lower the lights.

Day 5 -i lowered the Autocobs to 14” to try to remedy the stretching of the seedlings. This resulted in in the plants looking like this:

i would also like to welcome TOOF DECAY to the party.

SIMPLE is my approach. Build a soil, let it ”cook” for 3 month, and water only with a 50/50 mix of rainwater/tap water at 6.4ph. My tap water is 180-200ppm, so I am diluting to 100-120 ppms. I’m NOT looking to grow big plants, but rather happy plants. As a friend once said, “I want to grow quality/happy plants, bigger is a bonus”.
