Greetings everyone I'm getting ready to start up my next grow! This will be my fourth indoor grow, first time posting in the Mephisto section but I have grown their gear before... I've gotta say they've become my favorite breeder! For this journal I'll be growing:

• Sour Stomper
• BlueToof

These will be grown in my 2x4x6ft tent in my closet under 3 Autocobs. Having no grow funds currently I looked around to see what I could use this time and remembered I had a big bag of hydroton and some old nutes laying around. With those materials I've decided to try the hempy bucket method using pure hydroton. I'll be using 3.5 gallon buckets for the container. They've had a hole drilled 2 inches from the bottom.

The seeds were lightly filed on one side and soaked in shot glasses with Rhizotonic water at 2ml/l for 30 minutes. They were then dropped into Rapid Rooters that were rolled around in Azos and Mykos. They're under one Autocob each that's about 32" away from them.

Good choice of strains. Haven’t done a stomper yet but she sounds about perfect and that bluetoof is gonna have u smellin your fingers and wanting to go back in for more lol. Good luck I’ll stop in and see how things r going.

Awesome, I've done one illuminauto already and it definitely didn't disappoint, wish I bought them all hahah... I'm excited to try this one do you know if this strain turns blue? Would love some fancy colors in the tent!

Same I have been really thinking about my medium choice.... I was considering a coco hempy bucket since I have some coco bricks but i don't have coco nutes lol being broke isn't fun

The one showed more color but they both blue’d up a little had some really nice blue hues. It’s smell is my favorite part.

Nice to see you in the Mephisto forum I’ll be creeping for sure! I can’t speak on the blue toof but Sour Stomper is GREAT. Mines got about a 6 month cure and smells and tastes like standing in line at a Cinnabon while carrying a gym bag full of BO laden socks.

Hahah your descriptions really paint a picture! Props on you too for having bud last that long.... it doesn't last like that in my household lol

Mini update the sour stomper opened up it's shell and blue toof already has a tail! Not too shabby for a little less than 24 hours gotta love the nail file trick + fresh seed stock

@jelly0 coco specific nutes are great but not necessary to grow in coco. I belive the only difference is they contain more cal mag than regular nutes.

You are right they aren't necessary. I did my first grow using coco loco and second grow using roots organics both coco based with additives with regular AN nutes. I got the ladies to the end but they did have deficiencies and reduced yields. If I try coco again I'd like give it a shot with coco specific nutes and see how I do. Oh also I think coco nutes have different levels of P in them as well.

Mini update woke up to SS breaking through the soil and her shell! From seed to seedling in less than 2.5 days, amazing! Not sure if I'm gonna count this as day 1 or day 0 yet, but we're off to a great start!
