Lighting Mephisto Grape Crinkle x2 first bigsm0 Auto Cob Grow 24 hrs lights on

Both are already showing magnesium defficiency in lower most leaves, hopefully I caught it in time or this grow can become a headache :face:.
Guess I'm going to have to step up my cal mag game up big time.

Epsom salt is a great all natural way to get mag to them. 1/2 teaspon per gallon should be enough! Lookin good so far!

Unfortunately I don't have any on hand but I notice the fox farm grow big has a small amount and I also have a cal mag supplement by earth juice hopefully that works.

Day 24. Fed them some grow big and cal mag yesterday. You will be able to see some dry crispy leaves at the bottom that's what I'm dealing with now but it's the lowest growth possible so I'm not too concerned at this point. Plant on the right has it worst should be able to see it.

Lights off for your viewing pleasure lol..

I want to say they are a pretty good size for their age, all I been doing is tucking leaves and of course they've already been topped.. growing pretty uniform so far props to mephisto kinda looking like twins right now

Alright guys I need some help as I have never had this problem before this early on. I ph my water every drop that goes into my pots, I fluctuate between 6.2 and no higher than 6.5 my runoff is reading at 6.5 so please take that into consideration I really do not think this is a ph problem!

Happy frog soil
Light feedings of cal mag and grow big

I'm starting to think it's some type of nute deficiency, scared to death of burning them, either that or I have insect problem. I did see a big black ass beetle? That I removed easily because it was so big crawling around in my pot, if you look closely at my leaf pictures you can see little dots, (maybe trichomes?) Maybe mites!?

Leaves affected started at bottom now it's working it's way up, brown patches and leaves are very dry!

Can you see the little dots if you zoom in? Mites or trichomes???? Lol

Please guys I'd love to correct this issue before it turns into something worse.

I did buy some certified organic mite spray just in case which contains cinnamon and clove oil. It's called akar-x Organic Acaricide insecticide

never even heard of it looks legit tho! That isn't even pic of actual product, that one is a fungicide! Lol

I can't tell anything from the pictures. Others can infinitely better advise you about deficiencies and such. [I'd guess it's just the usual cal-mag deficiency].

But it would seem prudent to treat your plants as soon as possible at least with that herbal insecticide, since you even consider having a mite infestation, you haven't taken done any preventative treatments, and your spray is pretty harmless (and hopefully effective). Consider thoroughly spraying your plants. And add some cal-mag too, with thorough spraying including foliar feeding; and plants needing more cal-mag at that age is rather normal.

Here's what's at the Web site:
Akar-X Organic Acaricide insecticide
$5.00–$46.00 $3.00–$40.00
Aphids, spider mites, and other insects can cause serious damage to flowers, fruits, and vegetables. These creatures attack your garden in swarms, literally draining the life from your crops and often inviting disease in the process. Akar-X Organic Acaracide insecticide is based on the active ingredients Clove oil and Cinnamon oil. When combined with inert ingredients the essential oils in Akar-X Organic Acaracide insecticide become drastically more effective at killing the target insect species. Akar-X® is OMRI Listed®.

As plant essential oil-based insecticides go, this could be good stuff. But keep in mind, if you actually have mites, you are going to need to hit them harder, for real, and repeatedly. You might consider getting a pyrethrin product (if 'organic' enough for you) for potent quick killing (generally use only if needed) and/or a neem-based product which is more longer-acting. More of a long-term infestation preventative product, not potent at killing, also consider using SNS-209 (rosemary oil-based). I've recently been using just SNS-209 and Bt bacteria drops to kill any larvae in the medium (coco); and I'm not seeing any insects.

Well here's a big ass rep slap for you :slap: lol..
I'm thinking it's a cal mag problem but then again my ph is pretty dam good so I really don't know. A heavy feeding of cal mag is 2 teaspoons per gallons ?on actual bottle label) so that's what she just got, the ph was at 6.2 going in. Google led me to believe possible root aphids broad Mites or other types of mites could cause dry brown leaves so I freaked out when I seen that, other than that I have no reason to believe I have a mite problem the jewelers loupe I have for trichomes is useless :face: Got A Cheap One Off Amazon Can't See Shit With It!

PS IT SAYS I ALREADY REPPED YOU?? I NEED TO REP 5 OTHERS FIRST

Thank you for the slap. You still should probably treat your plants at least once with your harmless organic stuff before they get deeper into bloom. It couldn't hurt. Once you get into bloom, treatment of infestations becomes much harder.
