Day 20
- Deez Nugs, some pics from today before fertigating with 1 Lt of nutes at 330 ppm / 0.66 EC of MC1 + hydroguard, pH 6.01.

UPDATE

It's day 22 for the Deez Nugs. Hasn't show sex yet.***

I found her today with some leaves clawing with tips pointing downward and found one tiny little brown spot. I'd imagine it is a Ca def symptom due to excess N... I say this because it comes 2 days after having given increased nutes (day 20 nute at 450 ppms with 330 of them being MC1, rest tap water and hydroguard) compared to prior fertigation (day 15 nutes at 350 ppms with 230 of them being MC1, rest tap water and hydroguard).
Fertigation pH has always been between 6.0-6.3. Tent has been kept since seed at 20C / 68F - 65% RH with lights off, 25 C / 77 F - RH 50-55% with lights on. Light is dimmed to 60Watts, placed 53 cm / 20.8 inches from the top of the plant for a DLI of 18-20.

I wanted to fertigate today, but seeing these symptoms, not sure if I should fertigate today with lower strength nutes... maybe 50-70 ppm less of MC? or use the same as last time but wait a little longer to fertigate? @Mañ'O'Green would you mind giving me some input, please? I haven't used Cal Mag or Epsom even once this time... only MegaCrop 1 part V1, and well... tap water has been harder than usual at 100-120 ppms.

Oh and @St. Tom , would you turn on the autopot on this one or should I wait a bit longer?

Some pics taken today:

***EDIT:
And by the end of the day, pistils were visible at 4th node! We have a female! :d5:

Do not add Cal-mag. You do not have any nutrient problems that I can see. You are imagining problems that simply are not there. Nitrogen toxicity is accompanied by dark shinny forest green foliage. You do not have that or the claw! This is the claw:

Nitrogen does not cause a calcium deficiency or any other deficiency except nitrogen.

Okey... my bad. I was looking at this one

and https://www.cannagardening.com/interactions_between_nutrients does say "When in the form of ammonium, NH4+, nitrogen interacts negatively with the plant’s uptake of calcium, magnesium and potassium, particularly when the NO3- (nitrate)/NH4+ (ammonium) ratio is low." but must not be my case then. And well... not clawing but leaf tips did start pointing downward today.

Anyhow I wasn't planning on using any sups, just wondering if i should keep same strength nutes or dial back.

Ok that may be true but you do not want to be using Ammonium nitrate in any strength and here is why:

Interesting.... saturated medium causes transformation of N into ammonium. Thanks for sharing that video. I guess i'll just wait a bit longer for next fertigation and use a bit lower strength nutes.

If you watch that whole video (I know it is long ) there is some really enlightening things about nutrients.

Oh i did. I even saw the questions section. Very good ones.
