I was one of the canadians that was unlucky with the Sour Crack, they were freebies but even if I paid for them. I know that @mephisto wouldnt release a bad germ rate batch, anyone can say shit about seeds not germinating for whatever reason they want to throw a rock at but meph doesnt waver, their cool, down to earth, very generous and social. A lot different than those "wal mart" seed brands..

Even if something did happen in transit, they got baked in a hot truck.. whatever.. that's a risk you have to take when buying seeds.

The fact that everyone who had problems with their SC got the seeds from .ca is a little too much of a coincidence i will admit but again, shit happens.......

I can definetly see this as an apoerator issue as I am a complete rookie as a grower. My only thing is, then why my NCH and my AVT germed under the exact same conditions (temp and method) as they were done at the same time?

Center girl is a Sour Crack, seeds from the black friday drop. Picture is 52 days from germ. I was kinda expecting her to finish @ this size, but she's got quite a bit of time left. 8 other Meph strains around her, all 1 seed germs. 8 for 8. I've had a few come out funky, a looped root, odd growth, but after about 50 seeds, am well above 90% germ, and maybe 2 to 5% freak.
Edit: I had more issues before I stumbled on just the right place for me. Soak, paper towel and bag, small dark box in a display cabinet with a 25w light. When I set them on top of electrical things (ie router) I had many more failures.

I can definetly see this as an apoerator issue as I am a complete rookie as a grower. My only thing is, then why my NCH and my AVT germed under the exact same conditions (temp and method) as they were done at the same time?

Did you have issues with Sour Crack too? I germed 15 Mephisto beans a month ago including 2 sour cracks. All germed in under 48 hours except the Sour Cracks took a week. But I could not get them to sprout in the end. So I really think there is something off with these Sour Cracks. Next time I'm going to up the heat a bit, use more H202.

Its not fair to say the SC issues are operator error IMO because clearly the methods being used obviously work for the other strains. Its just that the SCs are one tough seed to crack IMO and need special treatment. IMO. People can doubt it all they want but I believe I'm right. And I don't have a problem with this either. I'm happy to have a bit of a challenge presented to me like this. Makes me improve my skills.

4 AM is very Stinky, which is not good for stealth growers. It is a small/Medium sized plant with a nice structure. However, it has a very LOUD terpene profile. Carbon Filters are needed for stealth for sure.

Yep!! Very stinky!! But it smells amazing and is quite frosty and more greasy than the others growing currently. I have dedicated a hoodie to wear when tending to my plants so I don’t leave a trail of funk around the house.

Hey there wondering if meph can help. Ordered 2 packs of BSQ and DN, the DN have germinated 5/6 however the BSQ currently sits at 0.

Been using your method to germ and it's worked well for me before. Tent is 29c and 43% humidity and after 72 hours they show no signs of life.

The freebies I got sent have also germed fine (FE) , so I'm at a loss for what's happened here.

Nope conditions were consistent, Fantasmo freebies also germed fine in the same exact conditions.

The 6/6 not taking is a major bummer
