Update time. Highlights for the week include: topping at day 15, showed sex day 16, showed a nanner as well day 16. Plucked it.
Here's a log recap for the week:
D.11-50ml compost tea topdressed pot with 2 tbsp lime ( did not mix in when I mixed my pot up, but I have a about 6 weeks in that I just did the same thing to a week ago and it stopped the lockout and mag deficiencies-so here's to hoping I've prevented that)
D. 12-100ml compost tea
D. 13-150ml compost tea
D. 14-no water
D. 15-200ml 1t/g catalyst, 1/4t/g recharge, 1 drop super thrive ( one application after topping), 1/4t/g epsom salt. Moved led from 30" to 26". Topped off pot roots original.
D. 16-no water, preflowers, leaf tips are dark and a bit mottled-maybee excess mg now that I'm using lime I will back off epsom salt.
D. 17-today-300 ml 1t/g catalyst, 1oz/g maxicrop liquid seaweed
I'm apprehensive about the topping. I think I should've waited another half day for the shoot above the 4 node to grow out a bit. I may have chopped a bit of the secondaries in the process. Looks like they're growing out of that node though. First topping- it's all a learning experience. Other than that it's about 6" tall today, up from 5" yesterday, and seems vigorous. Hopefully it doesn't throw any more balls. Btw I've never even seen a pollensac can someone confirm the first pic?
One side of the node has f preflowers, one side has a sack on a stick lmao.
I'm new to the tea game also this plant is my first experiment with it. I don't have an air pump yet so I'm steeping ewc(premoistened with ground oats added then sealed in a bucket for a week first), compost cultured the same way, molasses, and distilled water. I let it steep a few days and use straight up out of the bucket. Ph tests indicate my teas are acidic 4-5 ph so I might dilute with aged tap water to bring ph of teas up to 6-7ph? Also smells of rotten cheese and yeast. Hope this is the norm.
Let me hear your thoughts guys. This is my first journal ever. I hope the format is easy enough to follow. Let me hear your questions.
