Indoor Mephisto & AutoPots

@RivetGrrl You might like some Caviar too, super fire! Basically just bud dipped in hash oil then you dip in that fine hash/kief soooo good!

Similar to moon rocks? Shit looks potent, I want to try it sometime. I need to revisit my younger days of making bad decisions :smoking:

Don't mind me, I'm just here to lurk and sit on the poo bucket.

Looking great!

Dangnabbit!! So it's you been doing this! Get outta my room you beast!! :cuss:
:crying:
Thanks for the compliment btw. But next time, wipe that bucket down son!

After a few runs of bubble hash, I've found the only ones I use now are the 25 (which is usually of a pretty high quality - def smoking grade) 73 which is almost always the best and has good melt and the the 120 which differs a bit from strain to strain but I find it perfectly smokable in a joint or to top a bowl although some may prefer to cook with this. I'm not not really one for home made edibles myself. Of course there's another for cleaning it up first, the 190 is usually fine for that.

I used to use 90 and some others but found it a waste of time. Try it out for yourself though, the nice thing about the bubble bags is they're cheap enough to give it a go once and if you don't like it, there's no major expense to fret over. I got annoyed with having all these tiny little jars lying around too.

How are you drying and processing? Are you sieving to a powder? I've found that pressing and curing the hash once it's dry gives much, much better flavour.

You can also just press all the 25, 73 and 120 together and get some very decent smoke. I quite like it as it reminds me of what I used to smoke as a teenager, but way, way better!

Some pressed out 73 from dry trim (smokes beaaaauuutifully) :

Thanks for the great tips!! That is a gorgeous ball of black gooey hash! Mine got super hard when I tried to press it by hand with a bottle full of hot water.

Honestly I don't know what I am supposed to do. I did sieve it into a fine powder, but I need to press it still. Once that is done, what is the best way to cure it?
I have the powdered hash in the freezer now not sure if that is good or bad.
I thought of mixing the ones you noted together, it's OK that way?
I have a 220 I use to catch the garbage, and 160 is cooking only etc.

Nice going @RivetGrrl looking sweet in there!

Update was worth the wait :toke: :headbang:

Thank you for the kind words, I hope in a week I update with buds getting much fatter :pass:

Gardens looking great :d5:
:vibe:

You kill as many plants as me

Only the fittest survive

Thank you HairyMan :smoking:
Yup, if they can't take the heat, they BURRRRNNN :fire:
I actually pamper my plants, but I do like to experiment and switch things up, and it isn't always a good thing.. Like the move to the new tent was rough on the gals, but they mostly bounced back. Got a photo Blueberry I think I'll cull as she is just looking like hot garbage. Way too sensitive to everything. Shame as I've never grown pure Blueberry.

Was reading about moon rocks on RQS blog yesterday. They also mention these :fire: @RivetGrrl

SUNROCKS
SunRocks take things to another level. A SunRock is basically like MoonRock’s older, chain- smoking brother.

While their composition is nearly identical (a bud coated in concentrate and sprinkled with kief), SunRocks are typically made using higher-grade products. They are currently being produced by two main manufacturers in California, Big Tray Deee and Apollo Sun Rocks.

Both manufacturers take top-shelf buds (usually some kind of OG), dip them in a sticky layer of wax or similar concentrate, and then finish them off with a sprinkle of kief. Big Tray Deee’s Rocks usually feature a very thin layer of concentrate and kief, clocking in at about 80% THC. Apollo’s Rocks, however, typically boast a thicker layer of kief and roughly 60% THC

Sometimes I go on mad quests to grow with the least feed, less light ,sometimes you just have to admit that like being fed and pampered

Mixing it is fine, although some people like to keep different grades on hand. I tend to press the 25 and the 120 together and keep the 73 on it's own.

Whilst there's nothing wrong with sieving I don't really see the point myself. Trying to make hash here after all, not kief!

No need to store it in the freezer, if you want to press it needs to be warm. A little more than body temperature should be enough for the 73. If you need to get it hotter as you will for the 120 and 25, then you can fill a glass bottle with boiled water and let that do some heating for you.

Work between two sheets of baking paper to prevent anything getting stuck where it shouldn't and just kind of work it really. As soon as it begins to get stuck together from the heat it will begin to form a sheet and just keep folding it over and reworking it. The smell will intensify and it will become very smooth looking, as soon as it's looking homogeneous you're done. Then just wrap it in some baking paper and stick it in a jar for as long as you like.

If you need some pointers, you can find a lot of info on hash making via Frenchy Canoli, he's given plenty of interviews and there are a few films of him working on youtube that have some handy pointers and also some good info on why this whole process is important if you want to make 'real' hash. He uses fairly traditional methods that are the best way for us home growers with smaller amounts on hand to process. I'm sure there are other people as well, but I find his approach quite inspiring.

Have fun! That's the main thing.

Thank you so much for the additional, great info :slap: for that.
I did watch one of Frenchie's vids, and Duchess of Dank, Bubble Man etc. But I still feel talking to people like you gets a greater understanding.
The sieving for instance, I did it because it seemed it would dry it out better (worried about mold). but yeah looks like kief now! And will be stuck back together so I just need to make sure it is crumbly to dry.

I only have a 160 bag, I use it for everything. I pound the whole pile flat with a mallet then press it onto wax paper with a hot iron.

It's a tad green but I mostly just add it to my bowls or make dragon tincture with it anyway.

That would be great for tinctures, I'll maybe put aside the 160 bag contents for a friend that loves making green dragon.

Jesus, I don't even think I could handle moon rocks, no matter what I do or how much, my tolerance never increases. You'd find me crawling around some odd location, babbling and shitting my pants :crying:

Haha fairy cakes  there sure are a lot of names for them that's for sure (although I'm guessing you are being facetious which is why I'm laughing).
