Day 17

I think I probably pulled off the fim OK even though it was a little early and kind of short and squat.

Actually now that I look at the pictures that I just took I see it wasn't too early because the pre flowers are showing up already.

Anyway now that I see the pre flowers I'm going to start reducing my rapid start and adding liquid koolbloom. When I went out to water today I found my tent at around 80 degrees and the pot was dried out in 24 hours so that makes me feel pretty good. I did make some adjustments to the temperature and brought it down to round 73 74 Fahrenheit.

I've had my first summer where my temps aren't too high and now I'm trying to avoid adding a heater. Almost dialed in! Should get great results once I make a few adjustments.

Day 19

Feeling good about the fim. She is almost recovered from the stress, I'd like to clean her up around the bottom once she's growing faster.

She is needing water daily now if I went two days she'd wilt. I think I'll be on twice a day in a week or so.

Hoping she'll stretch a bit soon!

Great journal Jingo and lots of good tips. Subbed in for the rest

So I forgot to mention I dropped a couple DP seeds in water last night. I have a auto blackberry kush and Durban Poison. I really like the photo version of Durban Poison low THC but the right combo of cannabinoids to remind me of smoke back in the old days. Which for me meant back in the sixties and seventies.

There's nothin like smoke from the old days!

There's nothin like smoke from the old days!
Been smoking some Columbian gold lately that is similar to back in the day. But, I never seen to find what I'm looking for[emoji20] Durban gets close though

So I've been mixing up some nutrients the first label is for the blue.

She's getting 4 mil per gallon of the trio. And I'm putting in 5 mil total of Rapid start and liquid koolbloom. Next bucket will be just liquid koolbloom at 10 mil. I mix 5 gallon buckets and use them until they're gone.

This next label is what I'm going to flush and pre charge my Coco with four the three seeds I got in water right now. They were; vast and fast, Durban Poison, Auto blackberry kush? I'll have to check before I label my pots.

So on the bottom of the label I have CM for Cal Mag SM for SM 90 and Si for silicon. Those are the total mil that I put in a 5 gallon pail. The rapid start is 10 mil total in a 5 gallon pail.

I think I'm going to put the vast and fast in a 3 gallon felt pot the other two I'll put in 5-gallon felt pots. The hope is I'll be watering them all twice a day by mid flower.

Well I went out to mix up some coco and put them in my felt pots and I came up short one 3 gallon pot worth of Coco. So I decided to go ahead and reuse some coco from my previous grow. I haven't done that before but I can't see any reason why using cocoa from a healthy plant with a few precautions wouldn't work just fine.

Now I do have a hydro shop nearby but they like to store their soil outside. Then they bring it in and put it next to their bales of Coco. Anyway all their soil has bugs and there's no way I'm going to try their bales of Coco. They never seem to be able to stock the bricks that I like so I just don't shop there anymore. What I need to do is just put in another order the five kilogram General hydroponic blocks that's what I really like.

Anyway what I decided to do was to take an old 5-gallon felt pot break out as many of the roots as I can just by hand and then I'll dump some boiling hot water through that to sterilize it then I'll put the same charge that all the other pots get.

Now my helper and I need to go boil a little bit of water.

So I got my water boiled and I put about two and a half gallon through my 3 gallon felt pot. I did it outside and then I hustled back inside real quick before it cooled off enough for any stray bugs to hop in my Coco.

Errr... I'm not too sure what this is except water and Jo Jo.

And then put two and a half gallons each through both of my 5-gallon felt pots. If the water coming out with look redder I'd put more through it but I rarely put any more than that through it.
I do not measure ins and outs I'm just not that kind of grower.

So the Durban Poison and the Blackberry Kush cracked open in their cups. The vast and fast sank to the bottom but didn't crack open, I have put them straight into coco and once they've been above the coco for about 3 days I'll start to water them. So for the next five six seven days I'm just going to keep the top of that Coco moist.
