GLN never has sales, only discounts with codes. Why arent they feeling the 420 spirit? Even if its a one day sale man come on. I know their line is worth it but some of us cant spend $80.

At the moment I’d rather them re-stock their bags that are <2.5kg than have a sale. It’s the only size in all their lines in Canada. I just don’t need that much BE or SC for my small setup, but I still want some.
I mean, why have a sale when you are already having some troubles keeping things in stock.

I was nute heavy also when I took my first free 300g sample MC bag from GLN. I ran four good sized autos out of it, even had some left over, and took all my bottled nutrients out to the greenhouse for my vegetable garden.
I have some of the most expensive AN & TF grown tomatoes and spinach. Makes me feel like I’m not wasting it. I’m sorry you are strapped for cash, we’ve all been there,
But you forgot to mention, they even give it away FREE. 
I mean seriously, who needs a discount when they give it away. Since I’ve been on this site, I have had a 250g, 300g, and 750g bag for free, come to think of it, there was a free kilo bag of it also somewhere along the way. Did I fall in love with it and buy even more, yes and gladly. I’ve never had a free sample from Advanced Nutrients, TechnaFlora, or a General H. In the few years I’ve been doing this the only company that gave me a decent sample was MammothP, which only taught me I like Recharge better for the money. :smoking:I’d rather have @Greenleaf Nutrients continue the occasional free samples and/or AFN discounts here, along with the addition of something like the 10% bonus program on future sales. The only stipulation on that would for them to Please not have the bonus expire like some places. At least let it sit on the site for two years for those that only order once a year.

Even at very low application rates I can get a tiny bit of tip burn when I add more feed directly to my DWC. I don’t think I’m getting nutrient burn from to hot if a mix but more that the VPD in the correct range helps the plant pump tons of nutrients and when it goes from 300-500 it takes a bit to realize.
If I can get tip burn at 500ppm then these nutrient companies have really been working us over for years with suggesting higher dosage feed schedules.
How insane is it that you can grow 4 plants with a free sample. 16-20 zips of medicine for no money in nutrients. I figure less than $1 per plant if you buy the 10 kilo bag easily. I’ve grown 30 plants with 1/4 of the bag of MC1. Even with my GH add ons it not more than $3 per plant. Crazy
Following the VPD chart might require less nutes.
580 ppm gave me nute burn last time (my first MC try) using MC1.0 and following VPD chart.
I like your no res change strategy so much, that I'll be doing that this time.
I had been emptying out about 8% per day, but won't even do that this time.
Even religious res changers should be able to get by for a month without a change the first time.

Yeah doing anything to the buckets in the first four weeks seemed so crazy to me when I started DWC,and I went from there.
You should be able to get through a month without worrying a bit. I have the buckets with nutrients to start and then add more around week 2-3. But never do anything else. Week 4-5 maybe add more nutrients and then top off. Plants maybe drink a gallon in the first 4-5 weeks. No need to go through 40 gallons.
Hey Nosias--MC2 all by itself at 65 days.
I think i recall you used V1 megacrop before this grow, if so do you notice any difference in amounts to add to the resevoir, compared to last grow? Or any better results? I got a couple bags of V1 and V2 and trying to use up V1 but will run out and need to switch over to V2 in the near future before completing my current grow.
