MEGA CROP 2.0 750g free sample promo

their soil could be pretty hot already, or I didn't really check the complete feeding program, was it Mega Crop only and nothing else?
The general rule of thumb is to just reduce dose if you have too much Nitrogen levels.

1/4tsp per gal MC2.0

1ml Silica Blast
2ml Hydrogaurd

Ph to 6.5

That was it

I’ve cut back to justvwater and all my new growth is fine

It’s taken me a few grows to realize that 95% of people IMHO overfred their plants. The guy you see growing lush plants constantly have figured out the perfect amounts and quite honestly are experts at reading their plants. Chances are they have scheduled, but just because their schedule says to give 5g of MC at week x doesn’t mean they doo if it doesn’t need it. A plant that needs something extra will pretty readily tell you things are short. And with a all in one like MC you really only have to monitor your Nitrogen to get s basic idea of dosage.
Luckily for most nutrient companies most people want big fat buds and figure “ what’s a bit more” unfortunately shocking or locking out a plant causes slot more problems and corrective measure than just slowly feeding you plants just enough or a little less than they need. I’ve fed most of my DWC plants like 5grams for the entire first 3 weeks. Not 5 a week, five total. Heck they drink maybe a gallon in the first four weeks if I’m lucky.

I think I’ve seen many between 300-500 ppm with MC and good results. That’s without any other amendments. Holy cheap grows. I love it. Keep up the good work @Greenleaf Nutrients

It’s the only variable that was different right before it all happened

I think many people have expressed to you to look for the problem outside of MC. But we can’t force you. I’ll send good vibes but not sure that will change it.

:yeahthat: This is 300ppm/0.60EC and it looks fine, even has just a little tip burn. She still hasn’t drank two gallons out of the reservoir yet.

Backing down a little, here’s my thoughts. It’s such a complete formula(too simple) that we all think we need to pound it down their throats(up their roots) like our old diluted incomplete nutrient lines. Like @Frenjamin Banklin said I think I like most r overfeeding slightly(some more then others I’m very slightly on that line lol) I’m only backing down a little as I’m not seeing major prolems only slight tip curl and that’s right at feeding then a few hrs later she’s back to normal. Gonna try going from 4 down to 3.8 and get rid of that few hrs upset belly look
Edit not all are over feeding. I think 4 is just about perfect for most in my tent I don’t mind backing down a little for all easier for me

Just to be clear so I don’t offend. When I said MOST or 95% I meant new growers across the board with ALL nutrient lines. I think it’s a tough lesson for people new to agriculture that you CAN over feed a plant. Add to that the heavy suggested feed schedules, not a lot of clarity about frequency of water vs feed and the troubles with nutrients just get worse.

I am fairly new to this indoor growing but I think we are in a fantastic environment and the shared knowledge on sites like AFN is going to really improve costs/ yields.

The cost of MC and ease of use has been a windfall for new growers. The ease of use and the amount of people using it has probably IMHO opened up the window to understanding how simple growing can be if you understand what’s going on. Basically what Jacks users knew but Greenleaf has forced the rest of us to learn / understand. The world of funny names for what is simply N P K fertilizer seems so ridiculous now. I still love the posts about other fertilizers “ what’s this product do?” The completion is still getting people to spend huge amounts of money for water filled bottles with catchy names and pretty pictures of cartoon buds.

I run MC in DWC without changing out water for the entire grow. Savings and ease. I run COBS and QBs at 25w per square foot. Huge savings. And my yields are between 1.5-2 gpw depending on strain. And next in my journey is to see how little light I can give them without losing yields. We are in a new world and with the number of improvements we have we really need to rethink the traditional knowledge base and push the limits.
