Invest wisely. Think about what the largest set up you can afford to run for yourself that makes it worthwhile. Leave room for things like co2.

4x4 more than likely so I can stagger crops without investing too much in lighting/electric bills.

New to the forum. Glad I came upon your other grows and can now follow this one day by day.
All are welcome. This is going to technically be my second grow, but there are plenty of experienced people in here if you're looking to learn as well.
Since tax returns are officially upon us, I think I'm going to pull the trigger on going to a larger setup. 4x4 gorilla, 6" vortex silent fan, phresh filter, etc etc. my largest setback is my lighting. I could just purchase another 220 and have four lights running in there piggy backing off of each other, or I could trade them in, orrrr I could sell them and purchase one large unit. Decisions, decisions.. I'm also debating the AutoPot 4-pot XL system with AirDomes.
Well from my perspective in a 4x4 I can maintain Temps really well with 2 solar storm 440s or one 880. As far as light spread goes. It depends on plant size. Like for you meef you could do 2 plants every 40 days and have 4 plants at a time in your tent daisy chaining those lights and being able to cater light height towards each plant. Or do you want to just grow 2 monsters at a time? I've grown very fond of the solar storm 440s and have been running them with 2 plants under each one. If you were looking at 4 plants max then that would be good. But bear in mind your 220s are half the equivalent of a 440 without the UVB. Maybe contact California lightworks and ask what a trade in would be they may send you boxed up new ones with return labels for the 220s . Or just keep your overhead down and pay for 1 more 220 and daisy chain. Those massive auto ultimates are blooming under one 440 each at the moment so you could do 2 XXL plants off the 4 lights. Choices ...choices... what's the cost difference between 4x4 and 5x5?
