Indoor Medusas' Fruit Auto Trial Run!

Well here we go again this time with my new auto cross of Flash Cobra x G13 Pineapple Express which i've decided to call Medusas' Fruit. Had planned to wait and take a few weeks off to retool the growcloset with some new T5 bulbs and a new carbon filter but these new seeds are beggin to go so here we grow! Setup for this run will be my trusty 8 bulb 2 foot T5 with 6500k agrobrite bulbs all the way thru the grow. I'll be using jiffy seedstarter mix to get the babies above dirt and then move them into partycups filled with 50/50 mix jiffy seedstarter/ffof soil until week 2 or 3 when they sex and then they hit 2 liter soda bottle pots filled with straight ffof until their finished. I popped 10 new beans-10 days fresh from the plants into their soak tonite. My germ method; 8 oz. bottled spring water mixed with 1/2 tsp. neptunes seaweed fertilizer-since i started using the neptune my germ rate skyrocketed so i'm stickin with it. My soak cup is my old coffee mug which i place inside my oven with a saucer over the top. In the oven you say?! I happen to have one of the old stoves with the pilot light in the oven which keeps the temps in there right around 85f whcih is perfect for germing. I do NOT turn the oven on,just use the slight heat from the pilot light for warmth. I'll be checkin them tomorrow morning when i get up and see if any have cracked-usually 12-24 hours i have cracked beans with tails. Excited to see where this will go as this is my first cross from 2 awesome strains. Next update will be when they hit their first soil and the humidity dome!

Nice name I have to see how they turn out..that PE I germed was about a year or more old stayed a week doin nothin..I added a pinch of kelp to the cotton it was in...next day a tail..so your on to something...Abundant Growth Karma...Dogg!

Thanks Bom! Really excited to see how this goes-they were 2 awesome strains-the cobra had a huge cola and the pineapples were tall with tons of budsites. As for the neptune in my germ water i stumbled on that by accident and my germ rate tripled over just plain water so i stuck with it.

I went from the paper towel which used to work and it doesnt any more to cotton from some trees here with water and h2o2...works like a charm..and same as you just stumbled on it adding the kelp to it..poped the tail right out..Hold on is the Cobra the same one from april Bom?

Cool strain name Full Auto. I like that. I also like your germ method, I too have thought about germing some seeds in a similar way. I haven't tried it yet, but you say it works great. I have a fair amount of beans coming my way so I am definitely going to do some germ tests with plain ph water and some with ph water and a little GO Bioroot added to it and see how it goes. I'll be following you along here, man.

No,i used a male cobra to pollinate the fem pineapple express plants. The cobra in the april bom was a sister of the male pollen donor.

Haven't tried the cobra yet,still in the curin jar,but i can't wait-only another 10 days to cure her for a full 30 days.

Glad to have ya here Squid,should be a interestin test run. I'm hopin their cracked tomorrow some time and then i'll post some pics of the way i plant'em and put 'em in the humidity dome. Gona try and keep an accurate log goin for this one.

Good deal. I love details. I'm planning on getting down to the nitty gritty details on my new grow. I just think it helps people out a lot more. I have a couple of other ideas I've been thinking about as far as keeping my journal organized and easy to follow, maybe some sort of FAQ link on every post to cut down on repeat questions.
