Dutch Passion Medical SCROG: Compassion, CBD Kush and Night queen with LED

Thanks DB,
No i wasnt gone on holiday i was just screwing everything up so i hid away and made sure to get lots of practice so i could stop embarrassing myself on my thread.
Noticed that you have changed your over head fans, do you mind if i ask why?
Is it just because the last ones were older or did you get weaker or stronger fans to replace the older ones?
Wow man there are some pistils on that compassion, they are so long.
Lovng the bud pictures dude and now since you described the smell i really want to get me some of that.

I'm sorry to hear about your troubles but I saw you got it sorted already in your thread. There's no shame in the growing game
I replaced the fans as one in particular started rattling and vibrating. I have a very stealthy setup and the rattling kinda ruined that  Additionally I figured they'd been running for a while so it might be time to replace them anyway. I remember seeing a member here having a circulation fan catch on fire so I thought I would replace them periodically as well.

its going well DB, fingers crossed for the last few weeks. You should come out of this with a nice medical selection

Thanks Tony! It's looking and smelling pretty good so far. I'm a little concerned about bud rot but all I can do is keep an eye out. I've been running the AC and the dehumidifier quite a bit lately so that helps.

I'm just enjoying some AutoBlueberry I found in the back of my stash. It's been curing for more than year and when I popped the lid open the smoothest, sweatest and heaviest smell emerged. As a friend commented "it doesn't even smell like weed any more" and I'd be inclined to agree. I could imagine some flavoured liquor smelling like this. Anyway, I ground some up and I noticed it's so sticky it's almost like clay. If you flip the stash box over it comes out as one lump almost. Into the vape and eventually my lungs it went and this is some good stuff. Very relaxing and euphoric.
I might have to do another auto grow soon to refill the stash. I'm thinking AutoBlueberry, Blackberry Kush and maybe one other strain, I'm open to suggestions.

Day 86/62

So I'm almost 9 weeks in and the CBD Kush and the Night queen are finishing up, I will start feeding them tap water from tomorrow on to flush them. The compassion on the other hand just started developing trichomes so I imagine it has at least another 4-5 weeks to go. The problem is that I found some bananas on the Compassion (see picture below). I'm not sure how to deal with it as the NQ and CBDK are almost finished I doubt they will be affected much by the pollen. Should I pull all the bananas I can find and let it finish or should I pull it completely?
I'm trying to figure out what would be best yield wise. I plan on taking down the NQ and CBDK in the next 2 weeks anyway so perhaps I can afford to let the Compassion finish despite the bananas.

I let them go a bit too early so I almost ran out of vertical space. I've seen a few hashtips so I guess they got a bit too close to the light.

CBD Kush

Main cola has swelled up nicely and it has a lovely sweet, fruity almost candy like smell.

Some more buds. They're nice and frosty already. You can also see a hint of hashtip on the right one.

Tried to capture some of the frost on the Night queen.

Pretty clear bananas. It's not on every bud but I saw it on at least one more bud.

The CBD Kush and the Night Queen look fantastic! Shame about the Compassion though. Whats the plan if you pull her? Just start another run? If you have time it might be worth letting her finish so long as it doesn't cause problems for the others.

Lovely photos by the way, not sure you need any upgrades!

Thanks mate! The more I think about it the more I think it makes sense to let it finish. I figure like this, first the pollen sacs have to mature and release the pollen, then the seeds have to form. Since the CBDK and NQ only have 2 weeks left I don't think there's enough time for that. I think I will just try to pull as many bananas as possible. I did a quick scan and only found 6 so far so maybe it's not too bad. Unless someone has a very compelling reason for I shouldn't let it finish I think I will go on like this.

As long as the bud is sticking up above the canopy it's no problem to take pictures because I can hold the light in one hand and the camera in the other. The tricky part is when you have to keep the bud clear from other buds with one hand, the light in my mouth and the camera in the other hand. The other reason I thought was for trichome shots, I think a ring light would help a lot in getting a good shot. Normally I take 10 trichome shots and there is 1 good one because it's so hard to get the lighting and focus right at the same time. I'm hoping to improve on that. Plus, let's be honest, I like new toys  Thanks for finding me one.

Hi man.
Yeah i think the best thing to do would be just to pull the bananas.
With you only being two weeks away from harvest you should be fine as long as you keep an eye out for more.
Besides that man those buds look lovely.
Looks like your in for a lot of trimming soon.

Sounds like a good plan to me!

Yeah a ring light will be great for trichome shots, and yeah always good to have something new to experiment with!

Hello there Scipher, interesting way to introduce yourself with a random picture in a random thread, a bit cryptic but by all means..

So I had a look in the tent and I noticed that the lil side cola on the CBDK main cola toppled over under it's own weight lol. I made a lil sling for it and pulled it back up.

You can also see the toll running the light too low takes on the upper leaves. It's basically impossible to avoid cal def on those leaves.

Really sorry about that....I was just reading the thread with this tapatalk app, then started messing about and my finger brushed over the post button. [emoji15][emoji15][emoji15][emoji15][emoji15] And yes I know my pic had nothing to do with a scrog.... But she was lovely, my last one eel four bubble mush.... But I'm on the scrog this time thanks to yourselves. Have totally modified my willma system to make things better down below, will post pics on here later if it's wanted. But yeah, soz again for crashing the scrog thread.
Everything looks awesome here btw,
