Yes we all like to try and get lovely looking plants but we are growing them more for smoking than we are for aesthetics
Like with most things to do with growing we are looking for a happy medium, Ie Not too much and not to little.... Its all about finding that sweet spot
When I took these last pics the plants were looking slightly green for where I usually chop them at, So I have decided to give them another week of flushing before chopping them, I just hope there is another week left of the plants soaking up water before they are Cooked
I know some people like to have there plants a pale yellow colour when chopping but I feel they have went to far and I feel the buds loose flavour and strength of smell if you make them too yellow, I am not saying it happens with every strain or all the time but I find the paler the buds the Blander the Flavour and smoke from them is, Not sure why that happens, but thats just my opinion, each to there own and all that
very nice mazar! love those dark orange hairs. mazar seems to be a great strain and a good one to cross with too.
i recently harvested this mazar x white rhino that was beautiful and stayed green all the way to day 68..leafs were almost a black/green color towards the end.
in the jar the buds smell like an herb or spice you would use to cook with..very woody and earthy and covered in trichs!
I had hoped to get another week of flowering done before I decided to chop them, but I took pics and seen that they were finished and one of them was over done, it had went too long
A few more of these beauties, I am well happy with them and they do stink proper good, its a kind of old skool hashy/weedy smell with a touch of aftershave and a sort of fuely smell added in too
One of the plants has went past finished and is Over Cooked hehehe
Sometimes when this happens the plant throws out the odd nanna in a last ditch attempt to pollinate the buds hahaha too late
