Had a look on eBay and there's a PH meter EC meter set £30! Don't want to buy shit to end up having to buy another set so was wondering if this is worth it or should I go for a more expensive set?

^^^^^^scrap tht I'm going for the HMD PH-200! Buy cheap buy twice, I'm slightly confused as to how I check my runoff though because if Im getting run off does tht mean I'm over watering? And is it ok to use PH up/down after I've made up my nute solution? If I concentrate on getting my PH right what effect will not having an EC meter have on my grow or Is it not quite as important? My heads gonna explode!

Cheers again m8! Looks like I'll be investing in both come the end of the month! I'll not be telling the bird I've spent £110 on PH and EC meters. Looks like I'm gonna have to buy some more seeds again aswel. This growing malarky costs a fckn fortune!
