Where do you buy the 5watt old model 300s?

I have purchased both of mine on Amazon, less than $90 including shipping. However they are showing long lead times, mine is showing an arrival between Aug 17th and Sept 2nd. And the lights are showing as in stock. That is a ridiculous amount of time to take to ship me an item that is supposed to be in stock in country. Tina, you guys really need to work that shipping issue out, or I will be tempted to purchase elsewhere. If I needed that light now I would be forced to purchase something that I could receive much quicker.

Hi tag60435, I checked with my colleague in Amazon, she said that all the products been ordered will be shipped out within 24 hours, but the Amazon system sometimes shows wrong date, which we cannot change it. Please don't worry, if there is stock, your light might be already on the way? Did you get message to tell you about the shipping? If not, can you PM me your order information so I can ask my colleague to help you? :pighug:
 
Hello everyone, :toke: recently we got some complains about the issue of the burnt out of lens. Then some of our competitors mislead our customers by saying that our products are low qualified and with bad warranty and spread the words like everywhere. Here I wanna make an explanation. :pighug:
We actually found out the problem in March that our suppliers of lens changed the material without notifying us. The lens will turn yellow under long-time high temperature. At that time, we cannot do any compensation cause those lights were already sold out, but we changed our supplier since then, and we tested the new suppliers’ products for a long time, get pretty good result. ;) So anyone ordered our lights afterwards will seldom have the lense problem.

For the wrong lens, if you guys have encountered the same problem, we will offer three solutions. :bighug:
1. We send to you free led diodes. You can choose to replace them by yourself or repair them at the local maintenance store. We will cover the maintenance fee.
2. If we have repair centre in your country like USA, UK, DE, CZ, AU, you can send the lights to our repair centre, and we repair the lights for you, the first year, we will also pay the shipping for you.
3.: For those who don’t bother to repair them, we will offer 10~15% discount on next order for new Cree lights as compensation. Ha, some of you may start to check the leds, lol, don’t feel hesitate to tell me if there is any problem.

Please don’t worry, the light will not get on fire just because some lens burnt out. All of our materials are fireproof. We will stick strictly to our warranty policy on our website, you can all check it on: www.mars-hydro.com/warranty:toke:

Here, you guys are very friendly, truly, I love you so much. And I want to say thank you for all those kind words here, but still we have made mistakes, too and you are free to give us your truely comments. We will take it sincerely, including those from competitors. However, some competitors spread bad views and untrue comments about our products and company. I can understand them, they must be very jealous but they don’t know one thing, Facts speak louder than words. To them, we will keep silent and we will not fight back. The time is more precious to be put in developing more good-quality and affordable lights rather than bad mouthing. You guys are the only one to judge whether we are good or not. Haha, can’t you see how nervous I am when you have a problem, lol.

At the end, if you see anyone say bad words about our company, please don’t defend us by quarrelling with them, we don’t wanna get better sales by defaming our competitors and we believe the one who concentrates on doing this will not build good business in a long run. And by the way, thank you the ones who are trying to slander us, you really make good advertisements for us, now we are better know by your customers. :vibe:

Tina I'm a Bit confused here.. Not trying to Pick just want to clarify for myself and others.

If it was the quality of the Lens you guys purchased why are we not going be cover since it was what you guys had put on the Light? I understand it was changed without the company's knowledge but that means we were buying something different then what was stated in product description....
If you purchased in March then you won't be compensated so it is the Buyers Loss?
Even though it's the Manufacturers Fault?

The 3 ways to fix your light stated above are those options only for lights purchased after March?

What is being done for the lights that burnt out if purchased before the Month of March? The way I read it is no compensation??

Also if you Ordered lights After March you shouldn't experience the Lens Problem correct? For example if I bought a light say in April I shouldn't experience these problems correct? But say I bought a light in February I may have Lens problems?

In what month did the Lens get changed ? When did this problem with the lens start What month-March?

Also Justin's Light did not Yellow it Burnt the lens from the Diodes burning. Not yellow from high temp constant running.

The way I read and understand this which I could be wrong and this is why I'm asking.

Is if you purchased a light before March there is no compensations for the light. So what are they suppose to do? If the problem or any other problems happened after March then you have the choice of 1 of the 3 options stated above. Correct?

I don't have any problems with my light I'm just curious.

on ebay, there is a store calling itself " Mars Hydro". Is this run by your company? I hope not! they are selling very bad quality 300 watt "old style" lights! only one fan, claim 5 watt chips but only draws 132 watts.

I sent them this message:
I have the REAL Mars Hydro lights and they are much better quality than these fakes you are selling! And my 300 Watt old style lights with 3 watt chips consume an actual 180 watts each! your with 5 watt chips only use 132??? only reason to run at less than 1/2 power is if you use junk heatsink!
also, these only have one fan, just like all the other junk grow lights on ebay. My lights have three fans! How can you use the Mars Hydro name on this junk???



Also, I'm seeing 192 x5 watt reflector lights on ebay. Are these real or fake? Why don't you have any 5 watt reflector lights on your website yet?

ok I see the listing just changed online, but the spec sheet is still for the 3 watt model. Can you give us the specs for the 192x5?

Pop i hate to inform you but if its being sold by Marshydro on ebay that is their ebay company. I never understood how prices are more on ebay then on the site as well
