Indoor Mars Hydro Grow Journal (2x) TS600 + 1 TS1000 Bruce Banner + Critical Mass + Gelato - Check out the pics!

It will definitely take over some of your time lol I honestly find the time I'm with the girls very relaxing and I think gardening of any kind is good but it's a notch above that in some ways perhaps. I usually go direct to the breeders but had thought of using them being that I'm in ontario how was Montreal Cannabis seeds to deal with?

Ontario here too. Northern. Ordered online. I think there are a bunch of sites, Montreal, Toronto... that all come from same place out west. Don't think it came from Montreal. They were great. Took about a week to get them. Order 5 Bruce Banner and 5 Gelato and they gave 3 Critical Mass for free. So far every one as germinated.

What's the ph of your water with nutes in?

PH meter on order, should have it in a few days. My first grow the plants were great, and using Advanced Nutrients Grow, Micro, Bloom which are supposed to be PH perfect when used together at the suggested ratios. So since my first photo period grow had no nut issues I hadn't bothered with measuring PH. But I recognized this week that I should start measuring to figure out what's going on. Will keep you posted.

That being said, the Critical Mass is doing wonderful in the exact same conditions. Only a little yellow on the very first set of leaves, the rest is a real nice green right now. So shouldn't it be suffering the same if the PH was way off?

But your Ph is an unknown and that can bite ya quick. You must have measured really well on your first grow! LOL!
Now you'll KNOW what's going on.

I'm so confused. Why do they make "ph perfect" nutrients if you need to adjust it. Makes no sense to me. I dont think you need to worry about ph if ur using AN. @autobeast I know uses AN. Maybe he can help ya?

Duh! Most companies recs are too high for autos to sell more product.
The more info you have, the less likely stuff can sneak up on you and if something does come up, you have more info to solve the problem.

In terms of adjusting it, you use the equal parts per liter/gallon. But for small plants you start with half dose and move up to full dose as the plant gets bigger. So I didn't feed them at all from Dec 31 until just this past Monday as I didn't want to nute burn my little babies. So I started with a half dose Monday, but seeing as as of yesturday Bruce Banner is getting more yellow, and Critical Mass is fine, no burning, I upped the nutes to 3/4 recommended feeding. I'm just trying to be careful not to overdo it until I know better. Didn't have any underfeeding or overfeeding issues with my first photo period grow so figured my methods were fine. Now I've learnt pretty quick that the autos and strains obviously have their own needs and characteristics and I now need to figure things out better, including obviously tracking PH. Again, my first auto grow sooooo....... taking in all the advise and hoping for the best.
