Mephisto Genetics Mark SIP grow Toofless alien and gold glue

I haven’t used it yet and thinking the dinafem that aren’t in earthbox may try to different microbes to see if any difference but with cover crop+ mulch+ fresh EWC n whatnot they’ll get plenty of microbes without any added and the boxes will have even more with covers! I did tape up the big 1 and I also have some spare large covers my local guy gave me since he doesn’t use em! I had em over the juniors til I had to transplant and stuck em to the side! I did tape the extra holes up and all 3 box covers (both extras on the full size) I just haven’t taped to SIP tube yet! Need to get a feel for how often I’ll need to reamend with straw etc so don’t want it where be forced to pull cover from side where plant is! Oh forgot damn near I made compost tea with EWC I got when I grabbed my worms and some kelp, calphos for rock phosphate and lil grokashi too and then I watered the 2 radicle bag plants just around outside of pot tho! Nowhere near plant n rootmaker shape where was transplanted! Also did tiny amount on top side of the toofless aliens junior and onto the full size before I popped cover on both! Was only like pint on the jr and 2 on full size so just enough to add some natural microbes that can multiply!

Rocbudinc going in here once it’s established itself in rootmaker!:woohoo1:

Word ya since only been up like 3 or so days now been just doing couple sprays up top around the outside but I’ll spray lil into side holes next time but not gonna try bottom watering til I have a feel for sweet spot using these rootmakers since I saved most from damage. Couple have lil crack but I’ll use to make transplant hole next round!

Yep, lightly spray top and then holes. Indont suggest bottom feeding unless you are comfortable with it. It very hard to over water using a Spray bottle only in soil. In Coco I bottom dunk my seedlings. The coco wicks faster and dries out faster thsn soil. You will see a Vast inprovement over your last seedlings. Once you see, you will be able to do it easily. I also prefer spraying because it forces you to pick the Rootmaker up. Doing this helps you litteraly get the feel of it...weight of your Rootmaker is a good guide. Notice the difference in weight when fully watered to your needs. Then you can feel when it is lighter. Good luck, slow

Hey buddy should I just use the SKU number for the citizen cobs the autocob uses to get the specs of my 3500k for like CRI # etc so I can order 1 with same stats just 6500k spectrum?? Wanna keep seedlings from stretching if the 6500k will help!

clu058 6500k
Seedlings actually stay shorter under 3500k. Stems get thicker and often the plant starts flower sooner than 6500k. A mixed spectrum is best of both worlds IMO. 3 to 1 or 4 to 2 ratio 3500k to 6500k.

Since my qb is 3500k and it’s split heatsinks so 2 separate panels the same as this light

I was planning after moving seedling from dome to final home I could keep qb on low and then have the 6500k autocob in between the 2 panels! If that’s just a waste and an unnecessary step feel free to let me know amigos! Remember I am no pro here I only started growing 9/13/19 so totally still a newbie just not scared to learnand try new techniques which prob why gone from 5gal smartpots, to 2gal regular pots, to 1&3gal radicle bags and now the earthbox! Plus gone from nectar for the gods, to cyco to just good soil and water only so trying new methods for me 1/2 the fun!

I understand. I'm a tea addict. I can not seem to give my girls straight water. Everyday I say tomorrow. Tomorrow comes about once every 10 waterings. I am considering zero topdress ever for my next girl. Only my living soil and teas. Obviously I have all of the inputs and can do different teas for different stages. My results seem.to ne pretty good knock on wood. Added worms and an avocado pod to my adolescent Sour Kush today. This chick is growing like wildfire. Her name is Baby. Silly I know but how do you talk to your plants if they don't have a name? Cant say "Hello plant".

I was gonna do same with the avocado and do 1 late veg and 1 mid flower! Guarantee the worms will be happy when that meal comes! Can get some variety over eating grokashi covered straw and kelp meal! My last 4 plants the pink panama, double grape and then the 2 gold glue X sour stomper I only gave em water with recharge once a week! Maybe did 3 teas total! A veg, a nutrient cycling compost tea during transition,& a flower leaning tea later! Also added some non aerated grokashi/molasses mix that u let sit uncovered couple days! Just did those for the microbes mainly more so than the nutes! I forgot compost in my soil mix for them and was K def on gold stompers so got some potassium silicate powder to add 1/2tsp once a week! Was easier than trying to topdress to get a fast dose to em! This run the earthbox cover makes so much crazy microbe life and mycelium fungi even that don’t really need to add much in way of extra microbes to the earthboxes but some will use like mammothP once a week! I got that fish shit liquid microbes and got some from a company called tribus originals I think that is a phosphorus releasing combo of bacteria that are geared towards cannabis so I’ll decide if wanna do test between em on the dinafem plants!

I like the mixed spectrum, its not expensive for a chip and easy to put in. I would get a 6500K if you dont have one. Good luck, slow

Watering can be an issue - I agree with @slowandeasy that you MUST pick rootmaker and feel weight ..... I disagree with slow on the bottom watering - after all the earthbox is a bottom water system so no reason you can’t bottom water - trick is to only let them sit in water for about 20 minutes ......

However you water make darn sure you pickup pot and feel weight.
