Outdoor Maria's Spring Madness: SS Jack 47, Mandarin XL, Dark Devil, FB Green Crack, G14, C-4, DP AutoMazar

Nice plants Maria! Is that dark devil that one who was smaller at first?
I have 3 plants in forest, but i think that they r not maybe doing well there because of weather...snowing again...

Yes, that's the one that was originally stunted / delayed when very small.
Hasn't grown as big as any of the others, but she's still a happy healthy plant.

Don't know how you can do it in that kind of weather....
All the best!

Went up last night not long before mid-night.
There's almost a full moon, so vision was not too bad!
It fun with your ganja girls in the bush, at night, under the full moon!!!

I gave them a feed, about 0.5L each, of Sensi Bloom Coco AB.
It was 1/4 strength A and 3/4 strength, so more PK than usual.
(Next feed will be 1/2 A and full B.)

It was dark, but could still see okay after a while. So, updates:

FastBuds:
G14
She had a little yellowing down the bottom, but not much.
She's about 70cm = 28" tall.
Developing a nice central cola, about 20cm = 8" long.
And about 12 lower branches.
Aroma just starting to come out.

C4-matic
She also had a little yellowing down the bottom, a bit more than G14.
She's also about 70cm = 28" tall.
Developing a longer central cola, about 25cm = 10" long.
And about 10 lower branches. All bud sites have dark purple showing.
Aroma just starting to come out.

Green crack
Still very green (I guess that's her name!) all over.
About 65cm = 26" tall.
Thicker central cola, looking chunkier than G14 or C4.
Also about 10 lower branches coming along.
Maybe slight later in flowering.

Ministry of Cannabis:
Blue Amnesia:
This freebie girl really is a nice surprise!
She's about 90cm = 36" tall. May have a few more cm growth to come.
Main bud is getting very thick and leafy at this point.
About 12 lower branches, all leafing up nicely, quite long.
Looks like this Blue Amnesia may be the big yield of all 8 plants!

Sweet Seeds:
Dark Devil
Still rather short, about 50cm = 20", but green and healthy.
Main bud and some lower branches, maybe 6 or so.
Her aroma is coming on quite fast though.
Sweet and a bit citrus at this point. Will change, for sure.

Cream Mandarin XL
Glad I chose this lady as my auto for the outdoor grow comp!
She's about 65cm = 26" tall.
She has quickly formed a very nice thick main cola.
Plus about 10 lower branches.
Nice indica Christmas tree structure.
I thick her heavy indica genetics mean she can deal with the lower light, perhaps (?).
Her aroma is the nicest / most mature of all at this point.
I think she will be the first finisher at this pace.

Jack 47
Also about 70cm = 28" tall, looking very nice and green still.
Main cola about 20cm = 8" long, not quite as thick as Mandarin.
Lower branches also about 12 of them, coming along nicely.

Dutch Passion
AutoMazar:
The tallest lady, she must have just hit the magic 100cm = 40" tall!
Her location is slightly more shaded, but better hidden.
A bit of yellowing down below, hopefully now fixed.
A very wide and open structure, long, long internode length. (Partly due to shading?)
Her main cola is now starting to form nicely in shape.
It won't be very long, but will be quite wide!
Lots of lower branches, 12-14 or so, long, but now tightening up top.

A bit more sunshine forecast for today, goody!
But then rain for the weekend and following.
It's hot and humid, for sure.........

Yee haa!!! All is going well up to this point.
Hopefully get you all some new photos on Friday or the weekend.

Love and hugs,
MJS

I forgot to add a story................

You know that feeling you get when you lose an ID card?
You look everywhere, but can't find it.
And the only thing you can think of is that you dropped it in the guerilla garden?
But you tell yourself you're being paranoid.
But it's the only place it could be, cause you've looked everywhere else?

Yeah, had that feeling for a couple of days.

Last night when I went up to the garden, guess what I found?
Sitting a couple of feet from Little Miss Cream Mandarin XL.

Oh, wow, lucky.
Nothing like leaving condemning evidence at the crime scene.......

Yesterday afternoon and evening had some rain.
Kind of heavy. I knew it would flush the soil a fair bit.
Went up and checked them in the day, could have a good look.
They are still budding along nicely.
But, the color is faded a lot, and a fair few yellowing lower leaves.
So, it was good that I had mixed up CaliMagic and full strength Sensi Bloom Coco for them.
I did notice that the soil had drained well, though.
Cloth bags and a fair bit of coco and perlite and vermiculite.
I think I managed that quite nicely.
But the rains do mean they need to be fed a bit more manually.

Anyway. The Cream Mandarin is looking lovely in particular.
A bit pale and yellowish, with red stems showing.
She'll finish first I'm pretty sure.

Some people were walking by the site when I was there.
So, kept low key and had to hide down a bit.
Not much time for photos or anything.

Got back and immediately mixed up more CaliMagic and full Sensi Bloom.
More rains expected for the weekend.
So may need to go and feed them again soon.
With full strength feeds, this nutrient def will soon be solved.

But things are otherwise progressing nicely.

There was a good rain down pour midday yesterday, about 25mm = 1".
Which for my garden means pretty much a full flush.
And they are already low on nutrients and yellowing...

So... last night went up and gave them a nice full strength CaliMagic and Sensi Bloom AB feed.
I also spread out some nice organic slow release pellets, NPK 3-5-4.
It's maybe a bit late, but I figure this is the best thing for these heavy rains.
The rains can slowly wash down the organic fertilizer.
Meanwhile, hand watering with CaliMagic and Sensi Bloom gives them immediate nutes.

It may sound like too much feeding, but there is a lot of rain here...

And then 30 minutes after that, another good downpour of rain, maybe 5-10mm = 3/8".
Ahhhhhhhhh..... well, at least I wasn't caught outside when that happened.

Weather is nice this morning, which is good. Went to check the Mandalas...
Have mixed up some nice strong CaliMagic and Sensi Bloom, about ppm 1000+.

When it rains this much, and the humidity is about 100%,
does that mean my soil grow is now hydroponics or aeroponics?

:p
