Gold Leaf Auto S1 #3 is 77. She might need some more defoliation:


Purple Kush Auto #3 is 58. Lotta bud sites if she keeps it up:


Purple Kush Auto #2 got chopped Wednesday on day 100. Very dense, tarry buds. Some purple trichs.

Chopped, rinsed, hung for 8 hours, then hung in bags. Outer bag so it doesn't dry out so fast (basement RH is 30-40% lately):​

The clone/pollen attempt is turning out to be for educational purposes (i.e. no pollen). That's OK. She's had 2 shots of colloidal silver now:


The girlz seem to appreciate having more room to spread out. Two plants is a lot easier than 6. I've been letting the grow get down to 60°F at night and have gotten a lil purple.

Here's a grow report for 3rd Friday of 2022. The big girls are Purple Kush Auto and Gold Leaf Auto. The runt is a clone off the Gold Leaf:

Gold Leaf Auto S1 #3 is 84. She's mostly cloudy, with a few ambers. She'll get harvested this week before she gets too stony:


Purple Kush Auto #3 is 65, building mad bud. She's a lot paler than the last PK. Maybe I tapered off the nitrogen too soon. Top view with the lights on, side view lights off:


This little clone off the Gold Leaf is a learning exercise. She's had 3 injections of Colloidal Silver:


I tried making a stronger oil infusion. I used 7g of prime Vanilla Latte buds. I decarboxylated it in the oven at 240°F for an hour. I infused in 50ml of MCT oil for an hour at 180°F, then strained out the grounds. Final yield was about 2/3 oz. The rest of the oil stuck to the grounds, which I boiled in 3 cups of water with a teaspoon of sunflower lecithin and used in 5 very strong ganja teas and a coffee. I tried 2 drops of the oil under the tongue, but I forgot I was supposed to take dad to the doctor a couple hours later. Oops! I was able to accomplish the mission, but I was driving a little too buzzed:


I'm keeping the grow room in the 60's at night and 70's in the day, but outside winter is happening. Today's high is 15F, tonight 0°F (-18°C). We had a bunch of snow Sunday and Monday. The airport said 18 inches:

Quick update for last Friday in January. Purple Kush Auto and Gold Leaf Auto S1. The tiny one is a clone off the Gold Leaf:

Gold Leaf Auto S1 #3 is 91. She got a week reprieve because I didn't have time to chop her. Any day now. She's got cooties (aka two-spotted mites). I didn't want to spray this late, so I vacuum the webs off the colas every day:


Purple Kush Auto #3 is 72. She was topped above node 4, and 8 colas were super-cropped at the level of the lowers. Side view, top view, horizontal cola:


The clone experiment has had 3 shots of colloidal silver, but no sign of pollen. At least I learned a few things about cloning and CS application:

Yeah it was just too far along in the flowering cycle I think.

so the reason that spraying silver on the plants reverses them is because it blocks the production of Ethylene.

so what has happened here is the plant has already built up too much in its reserves to be blocked. You can block the production until it’s dead. But after it’s built up those reserves it will not work by just blocking

I hope that makes sense

I want you to try again just after they show sex, start your CS regiment. I am interested to see if CS works as well

Another weekly update. Purple Kush Auto and Gold Leaf Auto S1, and her clone. Humidity is in the low 30's, so I've been keeping the temperature in the 60's (F) to stay on the VPD chart:

Gold Leaf Auto S1 is 98. The little one is her clone. I was gonna chop her a couple weeks ago, but she has continued to fatten up, so I'm glad I waited. She's still using 3 liters of water + nutes + molasses every day:


Purple Kush Auto #3 is 79. I've been picking off leaves every day, once they don't have any more green. No sign of purple, just yellow. I might harvest early so I can do my grow-room renovations:


Purple Kush Auto #2 was harvested on her day 100. She spent 2 weeks hanging in paper bags in the basement at 58°F, until the RH in the bags got down below 50. I was thinking they would still have enough moisture inside the buds to get the jars above 62%RH, but no, the buds were crunchy dry. I put damp cheese-cloth under the lids of the jars to get the RH above 63 to finish curing. Final weight was 188g when RH was 50%. The big jar is 2.5 quarts. I will get a proper cure next time (I hope). Even after all the abuse, the aroma is heavenly, and the vape kicks my butt:


Even with all the snow I'm feeling like Spring is coming quickly. I haven't started my next batch of seeds yet because I'm going to be raising dust while I make some improvements. Thanks much to all you Real Live Stoners! Here's some ghetto snow in case you didn't get any:

TGIF report for 2/11/2022. Spring is in the air, days are getting longer, and the snow is melting. Outdoor temperature range this week is 49°F to 5°F. Grow room is 60°F-70°F, RH 30%-40%. I had to find a VPD chart that goes that low. The 2 big girls are Purple Kush Auto and Gold Leaf Auto S1:

Gold Leaf Auto S1 #3 and her little clone are 105 days old. Nugs are rock hard. Few ambers, but her time has come. Her water usage has dropped to 1 liter twice a day (was double that for a while):


Purple Kush Auto #3 is 86 days old. Her nugs are getting denser now. I think she has a couple of weeks to go:


I finally sprung for a mechanic's swivel stool on wheels. Big improvement! I'm getting nervous that I haven't started any more seeds yet, but I have a pretty good stash to hold me over a short break for upgrades to the space. Thanks, AFN Live Stoners!
