This may be moot now but I just noticed that "[a]n important caveat with calcium sulfate is that its relatively low solubility compared with other fertilizers means that it cannot be used to prepare concentrated nutrient solutions. This means that you will not be able to prepare a calcium sulfate stock solution or use calcium sulfate in the preparation of A and B solutions." Maybe disqualifying?

I do single batch mixing of my nutrients daily. I dissolve part A, with any P, K in a cup with warm water, Part B by itself and now gypsum will be in a cup on its own, bennies go in last. Then if making a fresh resevoir I put the silicon in first and wait 15 - 30 minutes for the stir pump to mix well then the part A cup wait, then any epsom salt, wait then the part B wait then the gypsum will go next, any bennies are last.

Stock solutions are used for injector systems.

You do not have to have 42 or more DLI for every minute of the grow! Just like you do not turn your lights on full blast for seedlings. I would want at least 42 DLI In most of veg. That would mean starting your autos late April. For Photos The veg season lasts until the nights/dark reach 12 hours which is mid September.

A 6- 7 month sativa can grow outdoors starting in March and you have plenty of light in all of the states through September and into October. The weather is a whole different factor. Remember we are talking about in a green house leds vs the sun in that other thread.

I have made the needed adjustments for week 6 and this is what is in the tank:

The plants will be talking to me about it tomorrow or the next day!

I have really been putting about 12 gallons in the reservoir not 10 so the final reading is a little off. I have been doing this so the stir pump remains underwater.


I am almost ready to release the Formula Calculator Spreadsheet again. Probably at the end of this grow. I don't think it will ever be perfect. It should grow amazing plants autoflowering plants in hydroponics. By manipulating the N and other elements to suit the stage of growth the plant is in.

Time for a reservoir change. I let the PPMs drop by half yesterday and ran a 50% strength - 100% volume flush today. Then mixed up the new res.

The girls are really hitting their pace now. I am able to press the PPMs a bit higher because of the calcium sulfate in the formula. I do notice some calcium deposits int the res edges. Something to keep an eye on.

The Autowrecks are so bushy The others are reaching for the sky. Remember the MSG and Knows Candy in the back are 7 days behind the others. The front MSG is showing dark purple almost black in the buds
