Whoa! VERY Impressive! I love the ingenuity on the tomato cages.
Necessity is the mother of invention. I was having a hell of a time tying up a plant. They were impossible to move when needed and when it came time for photographs for contests it was impossible to get that winning shot.

The tomato cages anchored in a concrete block have solved all of those problems. I can add bamboo sticks to make them taller for Photoperiod plants. They move easily in the flood tray if needed. The plants come out of the space upright and ready for their glamor shots. It is one of my better inventions.

@AJrexxx I always grow with new blocks. They say you can reuse them but I have a solid root mass in them from one plant. It just looks wrong to me. They are not that expensive $4 and it is not an ecological problem in my waste stream. It is beneficial in composting systems to a point. I am quite certain my 1.5 cu. ft. does not even register in the scale involved.

I don't want to hijack that other thread.

Yeah looks interesting I am looking into a way to run a massive scrog in my 4 by 8 this summer to clear out some of my seed back log. I probably have about.... well more seeds than I will say but at least 90 strains i want to get through. I have been messing with bubble hash and am looking a freeze dryer now. So I do not want to waste the genetics and storage will not be an issue. Those grove bags seem to be helping as well as I was only growing as I was using or pitching a lot of herb.

I will follow along to see.

:crying: :crying: :crying:This system I run is stolen originally from the green house tomato industry. It will easily scale to any number you want. The support structure is the hardest part. You can run slabs for rows if you can reach in from both sides?

I have some six foot by 1.5 foot trays that I used to use in drain to waste with coco plants in my old tent. Was thinking of using a medium like this and setting up an anchor on each side and weaving Jute twine for support like I used to do when I grew rows and rows of tomatoes.
