But what is your time worth? Could be a pain hunting around for em at cost effective price. Why not get all the base elements and mix that way? Must be a lot cheaper then buying ready made bags, no? Maybe not for the micro's as some you can only get in larger quantities...

I understand what your saying. I was lucky and bought all ingredients separately and it cost me 180€...That was 7 years ago and I'm still using it today. My Iron EDDHA is getting low, but I'll order that before I run out.But what is your time worth? Could be a pain hunting around for em at cost effective price.
It's not more hazardous then the bottles/bags of nutrients you can buy. ie, the '2-part B' bag of the brand mentioned in this post is +99.9% Calcium Nitrate. It's is the same as my Yaraliva Calcinit. Only two differences between them. Price & the way it's packaged. Not to mention the health risks of handling all those ingredients in a home environment.

I've got two questions for you:
- Which bottle would a child choose if the contents are the same? A blank one or one which looks colorful?
- Which bottle would you choose if the contents are the same, but the price is different?
No hard feelings guys. I'm only sharing information. If you want to buy ready made products, that's your prerogative
You are correct. And HydroBuddy has a long history and many recipes. This one being the best I could find, which btw is shared from the manufacturers website. So to each his own. If I where in your shoes, I'd probably also be buying MC Two-part and Bud Explosion. If i remember correctly this brand was born from your same perspective or a very similar one, or at least it was born in the context of FatMan's recipes and the HydroBuddy calculator and is/was supposed to be a brand that has/had what you say in mind.
Why are you feeding magnesium alone? You need to learn about "balanced nutrients":Seems like I'm running into problems using the schedule. My ladies seem to be too hungry for such low ppms. I was at about 500 ppm at day 15 or so and I noticed some real light greenish colors like I've never seen before with my AN grows at this stage. Yesterday (D18) I also noticed some brownish spots on one leaf on the best of the 3 plants. I think it's calcium but I'm going to try and take some good pics and post it. I was scared to start adding extra stuff so I was hesitant to add cal/mag. I have been adding about 3g (15 gallon) of epsom salts but thats it. I just upped the feed strength.
I guess my question is, do you guys think I should go ahead and add some cal/mag or should I just increase the Part B or increase the part A and part B? Yesterday I basically used @Mañ'O'Green 33% add to raise my ppms to 670 and i'm hoping that fixes the problem but I feel like i'm damned if I do and damned if I don't as there is like no way to know how much to raise my ppms by. I just yolo'd from 500 to 670.
