I have a few fine male plants that i would like to collect pollen from. After removing them from the tent do they require the same 12/12 schedule as before or will the pollen sacs mature in any schedule?

I have just taken some Papaya pollen, they are full of it now. Just 2 more Im waiting to get some off of.Hi bum
A photo male needs 12/12 to flower, its the same like the photo girls.
To store the pollen put them in a ziplog with rice and store them in the freezer its important that no plant material is in the ziplog.
If you want to use the pollen let them sit for 10 min till you take them out of the freezer.

I have read male photoperiods are rare to herm but like 80% of my males have showed pistils in top of the plants. The sacs are developing nicelly no other known issues. Do you think its a hermie risk to use the pollen from these plants?
Hi Bum
can you post a picture from the male.
i got a very potent jaggen male full with trichomes and to the highest stage of flowering i saw also some pistils. I use the male to pollinate a jaggen girl to see how it works.

Cheers man! That's some nice pics of your boy toys. Seen a lot of males but can't say if I ever notice what you have there. Can't honestly say I ever looked that hard. Usually I grow the boys just long enough to have some decent material for juicing. Nothing like a fresh cup of cannabis juice in the morning.![]()
