Making Female Seed

Thanks cres ! I just started germing some seeds for an outdoor grow and I will do my experimenting there. I'll be trying a new batch of homemade CS on the strains I'm growing which are Pakistan Ryder and Poison Dwarf. Man I wish I had me some Dragons now but it's probably going to be this fall before I get around to it. I've still got several beans left to go that I have already purchased.

So do the flowers disappear or do the male balls grow along side the flower after being treated with cs? Im four days in spraying 2 specific branchs it seems the hairs are getting dark and receeding , is this what im looking for as to the start of the cs working?

I have little experince in CS... CS is trial and error, just like sts... There is a learning curve.

Yes there will be buds mixed m/f parts....

Will seeds form in those m/f clusters?

More than likely, but you want to get rid of those. They will be prone to hermie. You use the pollen from that plant, to pollenate, other female plants, for fem seeds.

Hermi in fem seed is the mistake of the breeder...., if you use herm stock you will get herm... if you use a well tested strain which is know for being herm free, you will be fine. You cant make hermi from a non hermi plant. Unless you stress the shit out of it... and thats just what I do with a clone or a strain before femming it. Its called stress testing and I very much incurage it before making any fem

is it possible to spray cs on half an autoflowering plant to get pollen and pollinate the other half of the same autoflowering plant? I saw a post ealier in this thread about doing this but my question is will there be enough time to make pollen and germinate mature viable seeds?

yes. I have done this without adverse effects, but 2-3 times is not a control.
