New Grower LST- better before or after watering?

That sounds absolutely terrifying!!! :pass:
It was terrifying until I started training plants. Listening to the inside of the stem bring crushed for the first time is scary. After 3 times, you start to get the feeling in your fingers. The results are very very good. Miss Supercropped grow so fast, I have to change and adjust her bondage every 3-4 days. I hope the White Widows decide to flower soon.

I don't think I'm quite there yet. I'm still half afraid to touch mine... I have, however, come to the realization, after deleting and retyping this reply a few times, that when discussing LST and supercropping, there's just no way around it sounding dirty. :yay:

It doesn't matter...
I've done both. However, I give them a pint with snacks, mostly minerals and my favourite Urtica after treatment, if it was a rough supercropping.

The netle brew GHE Urtica is a wonderful tonic! It gives stems of steel. I feed it to all my plants twice a week and an occational foilar feeding on vegging plants. I have seen old stems change and seesdlings get strong, fibreous stems.

I'm with Andi. Plants become more turgid when there is plenty of water available, although I guess that they need to be a bit water stressed to soften significantly. Whilst you can often get away with it on a recently watered plant, bending before watering seems to be less likely to result in a break for me.
