New Grower Low run off?

So I semi flushed my girls today. My water pH is 6.0-6.5 however the run off was a VERY low, 4.0 and lower possibly. Could this be from the minor discoloration of the water when it came out? The salts from the fert I used? Makes me wonder how a run off can be so low when the ingoing waters pH is 6.0-6.5....hmmmm!!! I also noticed when I was poring the water in the buckets, some of it went FAST and splashed dirt out of the buckets, think I harmed the roots?

Hi there JJ my water ph is 7.4 when i add nutes it goes too 6.5-6.4 then when it goes into the soil the run of is 5.8-5.9 so basicaly you mite of had quite alot of build up in your soil still? Are you flushing for harvest or after a nute problem? a proper
flush needs around 3times the pot volume Also the roots should be fine aslong as you dont constantly do it mate

I am flushing for harvest. Week 7 will be this Saturday so I am starting to get rid of all the potential salt build up if i had any. Plus to keep pH balanced. I will be only using pure water from now until harvest. I was using FD's feed sched. The only thing I can think is the low run off was due to the salt from the nutes.

Yeh i agree mate the ph will probs stablize and go back up after a few more waterings someone else will most likely come along soon they will be able to aid you further mate good luck with your harvest JJ :smokebuds:

Well my soil PH is always 6.5-6.8 I have a Control Wizard so I CONSTANTLY test my pH in the soil. I was just iffy about the run off.
