Hey there YUMYUM I also live in the great state of Colorado, one of my buddies is getting his liscence and his supposed wait time is around 3-4 weeks once someone have sent their physicians reference (whatever it costs to see a doc, it's simple here) plus 90 bucks to the Colorado department of health. You get a red card and are allowed to shop anywhere you want, although you can sign your caregiver status to an individual or dispensary for discounts and/or free product every month.

Personally I have my card because of nerve damage so it should be no problem getting the Phys. reference... I am not as familiar with the laws regarding how long you must have lived here to qualify as I've lived here for 17 years...

Maine is great. They just removed patient registry requirements to protect patient privacy, we're limited to 6 flowering and unlimited (ome say up to 99) non flowering plants. Plus, living by the ocean is super sweet. Nothing against CO at all... I'd love to live near mountains, too.

Maine yeah thats not to far from me now....^^^What do u mean they removed patent regisrty??...How exp is it to live in maine??....Yeah boss i have nerve damage as well its annoying as fuck having my legs or hands go numb and tingly...

I live in the communist state of illinois...lol we are looking to move to New Mexico. Iam disabled & don't trust drs no more, we are actually wanting to fall off grid sorta to say.

Michigan is another consideration, my cuz is a grower/care giver & she can legally grow 72plants for her 6 patients.

As of Sept 28, patients will no longer need to submit a form detailing their ailments and pay the $100 fee. They'll only have to have the recommendation from their physician on tamper proof paper to be legal in the state. There's only 2 other states in the country that allow this type of privacy, which is how it should be in all states. As for the expense... it depends where you want to live. It's not all that bad, but it's not the mid-west. I lived in Indiana for a while and it was CHEAP! For example, I live on the coast of the ocean and have 2 acres, less than 1000 sqft home (with another 700 or so for a basement) and it's around $125k. Not too bad.

Yeah that aint bad for on the ocean^^^...I like the privacy part thats for damn sure....I would have no problems getting approved i dont think....Nerve damage(really bad) major migranes, herniated disc bulging disc, my c5-c7 in my neck the bones r touching each other(need surgery) my head literaly stays in 1 spot cant look up at all...Worst part the guy driving(owning)the wrecking truck was from COLUMBIA and had no license no insureance, and NO green card...Had to sue my own insureance and am fucked up for life ....
