@Gunner Wow, very nice setup, and for your first time running it . I run two 300 watt old styles in a 2x4X5 tent and it works really great. Watch your temps close, but with a 6" variable exhaust, you should be able to dial that in easily. When using the duo during stretch, hang them just off to opposite sides of the plant and turn them so each shine at about 45 degrees pointed into the center of the plant. This really makes the side branches stretch out wide as they grow towards the lights.

IMO it would be overkill, or are you talking replacing the two 300s, not adding to them? Could you even fit three lights into a 3x3? Not for sure, but if those 300's are old styles, I think they may be knock-offs. If I recall right, the real MarsHydo "old styles" all had three fans, and the ones with one fan where counterfeit. I may be wrong about all this, just something jumbling around in my stoned head.
Those are probably the new style 300's (140 watt actual draw) lights, they have the one fan. I was thinking you said they were old styles, but after further review realize it must have been one of the other voices.
