She is now in flower though!

My IP CBD Auto took 17 weeks. It started flowering at week 10.

The seed germed slowly and took weeks to emerge from the dirt. there was a bad accident, bet even when she recovered her growth was terribly slow.

As it turns out I had a freak seed anyways, and I only had the single seed so I don't want to make any assumptions about the strain and it's typical behavior.

All that being said, I find that often my plants take a week or two longer than the breeders claim. Could be the cool Northern climate seeping in to the unheated closet?

I think mine might take that long. I’m already in week 11 but this is the second week of flower and who knows it might just take 60 days to finish...

Every time I see somebody trashing on autos I just lol. My dad was growing in the 70s and I started in the early 90s. We both quit until autos came along.

Get your seedlings in the ground in April and pray that the bugse, deer, hogs, rippers, helicopter cops etc don't see them for the next 8 months. Then sneak out into the woods at night before the first frost and harvest in the dark hoping it's finished. No thanks.

Grow photos indoors you say? Sure if you have 10' ceilings and different rooms for veg and bloom. Oops, there was a tiny little red light on the power strip - better luck next time.

I'm pulling 1/4 lb off of each plant in a cabinet the size of a washing machine every 9-10 weeks. Autos are so easy to grow that a trained monkey could do it. Sure I buy seeds sometimes, but mostly I make my own seeds so that I have a few hundred in reserve. I get to try a lot of different strains every year and my weed is always fresh.

Dad is 70, he started growing again last year and loves how easy autos are on the porch in Florida. "Easier than tomatoes"

I'm a convert and probably will never fool with photos again unless I can grow them in an outdoor garden legally.

Well said. I’m a product of the 70s and former photo dude during my college years. My aunts and uncles taught me all I needed to know back then. Until late 2018, I simply had ZERO idea there were autos in place until I fell into AFN. Flowers in 60 days?? Who da thunk it?? :) not me in a million years.

Your second paragraph...I had to chuckle and reminded me of my last time!!! I used to feed heavily with fish emulsion and lost a few to stinking raccoons that would search for dead fish in my grow. Sucked to be honest. And way too dangerous in my arse backwards state to even think about outdoors anytime soon.

I'm surprised at the disrespect shown to these wonderful autos on an autoflower website.

I get that they are easier to grow from having tried the latest generations of them.
The most outrageous myth about autos is that "one mistake and you're screwed."
These extremely hardy weeds can easily recover from almost any mistake that a photo could recover from.

Some of us just want to buy autofem seeds, and not mess with clones.

The only disadvantage I've seen is that sometimes they take too long to start flowering.
Yield and potency are excellent.
This x 10. It would be like a fan of one team going to their rivals forum and tben bashing that team. Trolling. That initial bash on autos reply just got me scratching my head. I mean... Why the fuck, is that guy even on this site?
