Kindered Spirit, I checked the soil ph at 11:45 my time last night (just b4 lights out) My ph meter sucks but it's all I have at the moment. Ph is 6.5 in big pots and 6.9 in 16oz cups

They have not had any feeding yet.

I just picked up some Shultz Plant Food Plus 10-15-10 Liquid.
Directions say 7 drops per quart. I figure if this is stuff is OK to use I'll use 7 drops/gallon

Should I feed them now or wait til next watering in two days.

Muddy, yep totally understand your concerns with the 16oz. cups. They ended up in them longer than I wanted due to not haveing my soil mix dialed in......noob mistake....lesson learned!
The new growth on them since transplanting looks good. Do I need to be concerned that the "rust spots" will spread?

I'm figuring on lowering the new 400 watt Metal Halide 2 more inches today.
How far above canopy should I end up as they acclimate? I've read on here lower until it's hot on your hand at canopy level.
I should also add that I placed a 8" oscillating fan on the floor to move the A/C into the grow area. Have a 10" fan for room circulation. Temps holding at 76F-78F

Hopefully all of this didn't stress my babies as much as it has me!

Thanks Guys!!:smokebuds:

This is awesome thanks alot for these answers and I am that much closer to my grow! Thanks you guys and I will stay updated with this grow, very interested as to the strains you have started!

You should be okay now that they are transplanted. The spots from the cal deficiency won't go away, just keep an eye that they don't get worse.

You can lower your light till it feels warm, not hot on the back of your hand. If it feels comfortable for you, it will be comfortable for the plants.

Thanks again Muddy!:smokebuds:
What do you think of this Shultz Plant Food Plus 10-15-10 Liquid. It's all I have right now. Any suggestions?

Should I trim those nasty leaves off or just let them be?

:peace:

welcome to the friendliest most knowledgeable auto site on the web! and anyone wth the tag after the singer from anti nowhere league is already a hit with me, welcome animal!
Wow! What a website. I've been hanging around here for a few weeks. I have learned a Ton from reading and following various posts. Feels like family already!:D
My setup is 3ft x 4ft with a 7ft ceiling fully encased with "double bubble" insulation on all surfaces. I am currently using two 23watt(1500 Lumens each) 5000k cfl's. I will be adding two more of the same tomorrow. Lights are currently on a 20/4 timer. I have a small heater in the room for the cold nights holding temps in the low to mid 70's.A couple of the warmer days temps. hit 80. I have a 10" fan for air circulation within the room. I will be installing a 80cfm exhaust fan asap. I've studied FD's Guide and have my PH'd (6.6)water bubbling away, have used the two cup tiered method for transplant and have mixed up his soil mix also.

Here are a few pics.

Just leave the leafs till they completely die off on their own.

Never used that product, nor can I remember anyone else using it for growing MJ. Probably a chemical nute, and fairly strong. I would suggest starting with 1/4 the recommended feeding strength and working up from there. MJ also requires macro nutrients besides the basic NPK. Brands like GO and Fox Farms aren't that expensive and are designed for growing weed.

Thanks Muddy
I am considering some MJ specific nutes however they may have to wait as my frig has taken a dump:cuss:

I believe the "plus" in this product is micronutrients

I am going to give them a 1/4 strength or less feeding with todays watering

I have that same exact plant food, Animal, but I never got a chance to use it for Cannabis before I got my General Organics lineup that I wanted. It works great for veggies :D It seemed like some decent stuff and a great price.

Thanks Squid,
My biggest concern is that it is derived from urea. My understanding is that urea derived nutes are not the best. Price was hard to beat!
I need to do something with my babies....new veg is looking better however there is still some yellowing going on.
