Anything you feed the plants, whether it's plain water or a nutrient mix, should always be pH balanced to 6.3 - 6.5. Your soil should also be in that range. The water you have is fine, you just need some pH Down to bring it down to the proper range. When nutrients are added it causes the pH to drop and sometimes pH Up is needed to bring it back up. I would suggest you pick up a bottle of each. No guarantees with store bought water that it will be in the proper range. If you use tap water it often contains chlorine, which can cause problems. Let the water sit out in an open container for 24 hours before use so the chlorine has a chance to dissipate.

Just got back from the store purchased the ph up ph down kit and a timer how much do i water after i plant the seed do i just spray the top with water do i water until drains from the bottom I did not water the soil because it seemed really damped to me so planted the seed and then sprayed the top of them then i went to check on them a couple of hours later and the soil looked really dry so unscrewed the the spray bottle and drizzled water around were i put the seeds should i have watered on top of the seeds and i know I read something about it some where but like i my earlier post just went blank lol guess I'm really nervous cant stop thinking about it.

Check the Pic out moved things around seems to work better

Water the whole pot first, let it drain a bit, then plant your seeds. Then mist it to keep the top layer of soil moist.

I guess after all the reading preparing there's one thing i didn't account for so much and everyone talks about it is the "Patients" It seems like i keep going in there every hour or so planted the seeds on Thursday evening Sat morning nothing has broke the ground yet when can i expert something or do you think just didn't take who knows i might of f'd them up "MY MIND PLAIN TRICKS ON ME"
.When i use the PH down do i have to let it settle then test or test right away ?
. Should i spray the top soil every time the soil looks dry ?
Thanks for checking in !

It will happen in it's time. Depending on how deep they are it's not usual for them to take 3-4 days, sometimes longer.

Yes, you can test the pH right away after adding the pH down.

Mist them often. You want the top layer of the soil that contains the seed to stay moist but not soaking wet.

So checked in the tent earlier to give them a spray actually seen something trying to pop out could it be 1out 4 so far gonna try to germ some more just in case the others did not make it and if the didnt can i reuse the pot and soil just maybe take a scoop out the middle or is it safer to use new soil

Yes, you can use the same soil.

OK its official one of the cheese sprouted and its looking like one of the roadrunner is trying to come out its kind of a trip seeing that lil thing standing up but i know this is the first step in a long journey
. So now that they sprouted do I continue to spray or do i water regular every couple of days and when i do water I need run off right so i can test the PH

That's good news. Continue to mist them for the first week. Seedlings like a humid environment. Let the pot itself start to dry out so the roots reach for the water lower in the pot. That promotes good root growth. When the pot feels light, give it a good soaking, capture some run off, and test the pH.

Got It ! checked in this morning before I'm leaving for work and the last one popped out sweet! on one of them looks like the husk still on hopefully it comes off dont want to try it my self dont want to mess it up off to work going to post some pics tonight
