The one weird thing about UK media, is there seems to be no distinct separation between Tabloid gossip/junk/heresay/crap and actual legit news sources. It appears to be just all cobbled up and put out the same, and by mostly the same sources.

In the US there's distinctly separate Tabloid crap, and everyone knows it's crap and nobody pays any attention to it aside from just occasional entertainment to laugh at. Then there's legit news everyone gets which at least try to be factual and accurately sourced.

So it would seem to leave Britons to just guess what is legit and not....?

Bwaahaaahaaahaa, our media is shit too. Trust none of it. Blame it on Walmart and AL Gore.

Everything you are allowed to see or hear in the US for "news" is controlled by a handful of people and as long as it fits their needs they could care less about factual.

Some of the best places to get accurate US stories are the BBC and a few UK news sources, and also the Internet if you know how to discern between the BS and fact.

That's one reason they are slowly passing laws in the US to gain more control over Internet content.

Can't be having the sheeple know what's really going on....

I agree about the US news,it's all geared toward what they want you to hear and believe..BBC use to have accurate news maybe around 2004,when I was working overseas I never knew how the world really viewed America and Americans,,,news is put out for the sheep that will believe it,,can anyone say "puppet master"

Sorry for hi-jacking the forum this morning, but....but what?

ANOTHER STATE JUST HANDED CANNABIS OVER TO PHARMA/BIG BUSINESS!!!!

Ohio just approved a bill in Senate committee (which means it's going through) legalizing medical marijuana. However, vaporized oil only. No smoking or growing.

Regardless of what explanation is given, the reason States like Ohio and Pennsylvania are doing this is to protect pharma and big business. They approved a means of consumption in which the substance has to be processed and monitored in a lab, which can only be pulled off by big business/pharma.

..............................AAAAAARGH!!!!
Pharma protecting its' "market share" by manipulating political processes.

bout yee folks
the uk will be the last worlds goverment to legalize weed if ever, then probably in tablet form.i dont mean to be negitive, but theres not even 1 mp/goverment person that is publicly pro weed.swab tests have shown that every toilet cistern in the house of commons has traces of coke, the bastards.
