OMG is this flash back night or what? The soup dragons were another like for me especially "The Majestic Head" and "As Soft As Your Face"
The baggy scene produced some amazing music which is still sounds good today, "candy flip" not so much though!

I met Paul Dianno once and called him Steve ! What a penguin wanker eh ? But he was a cool guy.

Bruce was also pretty cool and signed my "cut off" after a Samson concert in my home town. I did not know at the time he was an Olympic standard fencer ! And now a full blown Jumbo pilot ! But, I bet he only has a two inch cock ! IMO.....

I saw Maiden around 12 times at small venues in the early days, often with Def Leppard on the same bill, or supporting Judas Priest, UFO etc....ah, those were my days.....eP.

The biggest disappointment was that the the UK Olympic comity decided that Bruce wasn't a suitable representative for the Olympic games even though he was one of the top if not the best make fencer at the time.

As for being a Jumbo pilot, well that just puts him in the rock god category & did you see the documentary about them, totally insane and utterly adored in South America, it blew me away.

I was flipping chanel's on the tube and saw a movie directed by Bruce Dickinson and it even had Martin burch( their manager for a bunch of years) worst ten minutes of my life, it was about alaister Crowley so I thought it'd be good,I was wrong

Arty, never fly on any South American Airlines in or around that area (believe me!) the service is crap, turbulence makes them all bounce up and down and unless your Spanish/Portuguese speaking Captain informs you what's going on......................Shite scared!

Travel hint?

Mr. Epenguin
I saw Maiden w/ Def Leppard in Ohio back in 1976. It was one of best concert, I rolled 6 cherry paper of Acapulco Gold with the little wire in it so you could smoke all of it. Then I went home and Blew my stereo up.
