The 6 weeks of summer madness has hit here this weekend.
The kids have broken up from school and everyone from the cities decamp to the beach.
There are half naked people everywhere..:coffee:..the Man who invented lycra should be Shot..:shooty:..when you shove an 8 gallon body into a 1 pint swimsuit nightmares can happen.

Say Nooooo to Lycra....:crying:

With the guy/gal who started Speedo right beside him. Done on Hollywood Beach Florida, no blindfolds with the firing :cools:squad wearing their product so it's the last thing they see.:fire:

evening everyone.
Here's a quick report from Hempfest.

After leaving the house for the five minute journey to get there early so i could beat the big crowds expected without having to que for ages. I drove into the arena and it was like a ghost town, now I know I was early getting there at nine but surely there should be some people there but apart from a few bleary eyed campers I was the first there.
I waited by the ticket office with a few others that arrived and by 9.15 had my ticket and was in....gates not supposed to open until 10.

Thanks Peteey.
Great quality pictures.
I can understand the paranoia and give them credit for showing up.
Anybody smoking inside? What about police presence?

Just tried to slap ya but haven't done 5 since.

Yes we were smoking outside around the stage area but if you got to close to the security they told you to put it out or they would confiscate it, this they said was due to it being the first event like this and they wanted to come again next year so i can see their point. As for police presence there wasn't any to be seen, not even on the way out when I left feeling a little paranoid as I expected there to be quite a heavy presence, not even one...happy days

The local powers must have given their blessing hoping it will bring in some of the gold rush. The next few years will tell. It does look promising but who wants to wait a few years. The closer it gets to acceptance the more the booze industry and pharma will either push back or jump on the band wagon I can imagine it now
