I thought it was a moon pic and a solstice poem.

I would give you one for that..but I must have missed it in the flurry of pages..you have one now..:headbang:

Another Hallmark holiday behind me. Thank the goddess for my stepsons. Not to belabor but it has been nigh on 7 years since i have seen my children, my evil ex has managed to finally and permanently separate us.

karma will come back and bite her wwwillie..:karmacloud:

It's good to know I make you smile, maybe you'll go easy on me, if not I'll have to make you laugh so hard that your incapable of punishing me.:crying:

Now you know I am a Mutley fan and yesterday I saw a Mutley badge, I was like w-w-w-w-w-ahhhhhht why haven't I got one of those??????

Me too..I Imagine all the Live Stoners doing that when they get their badges..:coffee:

While camping there are TON of classes through out the day. Anything from crafts, dancing, drumming, and you guessed it, digg playing.

Now there are also a fair amount of didgeridoo players,

Inspiring story Fuggzy...:bighug:...we used to sell them.
Hubby picked one up and could play it in second..I couldn't....son sent us some a digg CD from Australia..it is ethereal.

It's a sad cycle really, and it took me 10 years of introspection, meditation, and insight to realize all this. It came with enormous cost too, 1 marriage, countless friends, lots of money probably in the tens of thousands of dollars. Some people may never reach that insight, most might way too late.

:bighug: Good for you Anthro..Most people don't.

Funny thing about being a veteran with an alchy problem... We drink booze in a shallow attempt to quiet the raging killer installed in us by the military/wars.. Or in an even more shallow attempt to numb the painful memories acquired in said military/wars.. But what ends up happening is that the raging warrior just spills out onto our loved ones in a most ugly manner, and the memories only get numbed for the moment while creating new painful memories with the loved ones.

Exactly. :slap:.

If I could help one person with my experience (which I have) it was worth it for me. I do feel so much stronger than I used to be. My family still doesn't know everything that happened to me. They never will. I would never want that on their shoulders. Night terrors have become a normal thing for me so I hate sleep. Part of why I started growing to help with sleep, I did a lot of research and that's when I found AFN. I've never seen so many kind hearted people in one place before. All of you really are amazing people.
I have one of those monsters in my closet too... :nonono:. Tries to pop back up every few years or so. Nothing else quite makes you feel like a hunted animal. Although I imagine all that firepower you have offers a little consolation! That experience taught me a lot though. Most importantly the worth of a truly good man. Which I have. He's just a bit damaged. We all are though in our own ways. :vibes:

Somebody just peeled a whole bag here too @wwwillie. Thanks for listening everybody and for the rep. It wasn't my intent to bring up bad memories for anybody and I hope everyone continues to party on

Love you guys

A party is more fun when you have an idea of who you're partying with! We are not alone in our problems.

Bam...."double black" hollyhock going into it's new home in the yard today or tomorrow. Hopefully it likes the space and takes off. First time biennial plant, so just learning that I get to look forward to planting more next year if I want blooms each year. Woo! Hoo!!

Thanks @mohawk warrior , @Mossy , and everyone for helping with ID'ing the plant species....gotta' love living in the information age. :smoking:

Thanks stoners... Got a little bit of much needed sleep when my two youngest weren't up howling at the moon. Spent at least an hour reading through your posts this morning and laughing. (Mostly)... laughter really is some good medicine. So is pot. I like pot .. and lots of caffeine. :coffee: :pass:
