Anybody know a good way to trap ants? I noticed theese ants are devouring those red spiders... Little carnages, but ya I'd like to trap some starve em for a bit then release the hounds.
probably all you gotta do is watch and wait, wild kingdom at its' finest, cleaning up the garden

Those are the small ones. It's been very dry here so the squirrels have eaten all of the large ones and about 90% of the rest.

For anyone who has never had those Chinese Pears, you have to eat them outside as they are much juicier than a watermelon.

I've still got about 2000 pounds of canning pears hanging (hard pears) I wish the squirrels would eat those instead !
my pellet rifle is always close at hand for the squirrels, varmints!!!!!

Hahaha...... My backyard produces around 7 - 8 tons of food each year, there aren't enough mason jars to waste on that stuff !

I do make about 8 different kinds of wine though, and some of the hard pears do get made into moonshine or Ethanol for my truck
was wondering if you turned all that sugar into alcohol, bet you got some good vintages

Wow that's a useful plant. Super useful, and called a noxious weed. Cannabis super useful and made illegal. Hmmmmmm.....what's up with that?

I came across it somehow searching for Lambs Ear since it reminded me a little of that (mostly the bluish and fuzzy nature of the plant). If it spreads like that stuff, that could explain the weed designation.

ranchers consider plants that compete with grasses as noxious
