I recently read that if you want your buds to have higher thc aka more trichomes then get your tent super low humidity during flower as what the article said is that the trichomes are there to protect the plant from uv light so the drier it is the more it will produce.. Not sure if it correct but it was something I read

Yep, great advice Ripper! shoot for 30% humidity or less in full flower and uvb @ 15w bulbs with a 10 rating on them will be best for canna. It will double the trich output and only needs to be used the last 3 weeks of flowering/flush and th ebulb fixtures need to be at 12-18 inches from the canopy.

I just got almost 10 ounces dried jarred buds ( no stem weight) and I just let her grow.. Most the rest of the time ( I grow a lot of the faster strains) I get minimum 3 ounces on up to 6 just letting them grow.. What do you guys gain like have you ever grown the same strain and LSTd one or Scroged it and let the other one just grow and done a comparison?

The first time I ever tried doing lst I used wire with 5/8" nuts tied on the end. I just hooked a wire over the tallest point on the plant and used the nuts for weight. I only went in small increments. Just until there was a new highest point. After the "top" became dominant tied the next highest point. Once the third top became dominant I let the first top go back in the lead. After I tied all three down below the highest point and then the magic happened. The plant was so confused as to which top was dominant it just exploded I had colas everywhere. I don't know if that's the kind of answer you were looking for but I think lst is a wonderful tool, doesn't hurt the plant and there are so many different ways to use or do it it's unbelievable. Ripper do you ever grow photoperiods. If you do you should try it out and see what happens. Or try it on an auto

I thing I learned watching & talking with people on fruit tree farms.....
Every year they hack out the middle of trees to allow for penetration and production... They also hack em right to nothing every so many years...

Thank you all! My blessed friends and family of AFN.

It's been some time now, the initial shock is wearing away. Last I knew he was doing pretty well, that was two and a half weeks ago. When my co worker told me he died I did not know who she was referring to!
Anyways, I am so glad that I did have some contact with them. I work with his wife and she seemed a bit lost when he was diagnosed. I slowly felt out the situation and offered my assistance as caregiver which they gladly accepted. So it was over these, now seeming so short, few months that I dealt with them. She would come in and happily report that the last batch really helped his appetite or ask if I had anything to help him sleep. As sad as it all is I know in my heart that my silly weed and silly ass self made a positive difference for these fine young folk.

And I know that the outpouring of love and karma from you all is making a difference too!

I'm so proud of you bro you eased his pain and for the weight u helped him gain back would have also given him some energy :slap:
