GADANG GNATTS!

We are constantly battling mould here, constantly spraying or bleaching. Contractors took a lot of shortcuts in the 80's on the Wet Coast, when this was built.

So what baffles me is that I didn't realize it until my daughter told me about seeing lots of tiny flies in the kitchen.

I have been waging a losing battle with fungus gnats. They must thrive on mold and mildew. A lot of seedlings have been lost over the last long while, recently a Barney's LSD Auto that I have been waiting forever to grow.

This time I:

Put mosquito pucks in the water​

Set sticky sticks around the plants​

Top dressed with Diatomaceous earth​

Still, the little buggers won.

I picked up some Killz paint for one corner of the closet. It's supposed to be good at killing and sealing mold.
And for the whole home I thought of trying ozone.

I don't want to kill the soil with peroxide, but I might just need an all-out assault on the little bug <ahem> gers.

Any thoughts?

Sand on top and surface allways dry, water in a funnel or something so top is allways dry. The important part is to find out where they breed and never let them do that. They breed in kitchen drains and anywhere where they can find moisture. Boil the big pot of water and pour it down the drain slowly, it will steam them. Do it regularly over a breeding period, a week or two. Bacillus Thuringiensis is good to have if a gnat appear but if they are single they can't breed. Oh yes slice a potato in half and put it where they breed, it's a dummy and it will foll them cause they can't breed in potato

What's good everyone! Hope your all lifted with me. Anybody top a Super Orange Haze? I was gonna top a Hubbabubbahaze for a scrog but after talking to Stan... it may be to big for my tent. I plan on running a Bruce Banner auto by Monster Genetics next to her so if anyone knows anything about her that's welcome too! Thanks in advance!

Micro-scroggers can scrog any strain that is good for scrog. Top it many times and top it in flower, like bonsai.

Well, that's my question... will SOH handle topping? If the strain doesn't like it then I wont do it.

Yeah but you can scrog the hubbabubba too if you want, it's possible to scrog all strains but some like it more than other. If it does not you can LST instead. If you have even light distribution you can scrog it. Take a strain the breeder say is good for scrog or scrog the strain you want

Took some tops from the big gal, hope it's okay to stage harvest a photo period.

I put some smaller buds that were on outer branches in dryer. Just had a taste this morning, she is still dead on blueberry cheesecake taste. A bit earthy on first draw but that berry taste powers through and leaves a lingering sweet taste that last for going on 30mins.

Perfect daytime strain so far really woke me up. Also I've been fighting allergies and after just a couple hits I was running to grab toilet paper. First time my nose has been clear in awhile.
