200W Breeding Project

200W Breeding Project

Ok guys this may go well or not at all, it's first try in re-used peat indoor. Genetics: Top tao seeds Taomatic and Kalashnikov seeds Babushka Black The image above is from previous grow in same peat, Special Queen #1 week 10 from seed.

It's nice to have a common ground, it can take a week if measuring from soak or sow to breaking through to surface, or months if sown in the autumn outdoor.
I like day one

Does anyone know why seeds pop out but not pass the cotyledon stage?? My guess it's old seeds this happen to 3 or 4 of mine.

Smoked the whole thing, then went out and bought a PUPPY!

How's it going, 420?

GADANG GNATTS!

We are constantly battling mould here, constantly spraying or bleaching. Contractors took a lot of shortcuts in the 80's on the Wet Coast, when this was built.

So what baffles me is that I didn't realize it until my daughter told me about seeing lots of tiny flies in the kitchen.

I have been waging a losing battle with fungus gnats. They must thrive on mold and mildew. A lot of seedlings have been lost over the last long while, recently a Barney's LSD Auto that I have been waiting forever to grow.

This time I:
Put mosquito pucks in the water
Set sticky sticks around the plants
Top dressed with Diatomaceous earth

Still, the little buggers won.

I picked up some Killz paint for one corner of the closet. It's supposed to be good at killing and sealing mold.
And for the whole home I thought of trying ozone.

I don't want to kill the soil with peroxide, but I might just need an all-out assault on the little bug <ahem> gers.

Any thoughts?
