sad to learn of John Prine passing, from that curse of a virus. I cant even go hiking, the state leader, she says stay in your suburb lol, but mountains are within the postcode but not suburb. I;ll fit a sly hike in for sure. Pretty tough messures out here in Aust

I honestly had no clue who John Prine was until he died. Not exactly my cup of tea, musically. It set it in stone when I saw all the wannabe deadheads on my Facebook feed crying about his death.

I'd say John Prine made a big contribution to the american songbook. His first album is certainly worth a listen...really amazing and insite-ful songs written when he was like 23 years old
