Well, I had to dig deep to find that inner geek to solve this silly **** problem!.............I THINK!

My hardware geekiness is quite dated! It's been a very long time since I've done a memory upgrade to a laptop!

I really knew absolutely nothing about the solid state type hard drives. Nothing about the form factor or anything.

I got the 'hard drive' Out of the fried laptop. Hopefully, it's not damaged.

Naturally the manufacturers had to have changes!
I had to make Heads or tails out of this crap!

I finally deduced that I have a M key style NVMe 'hard drive'!................... That did take quite a bit to find all that junk out!

I really wish the blue shirt had Goober head at Best Buy had done a little bit more looking and a little bit more thought process with the information that I gave him! I was looking for in an enclosure to house this in. I can still use the docking station that I have to take care of some other things, but what I needed was THERE!:grrr1::face:

I'm pretty sure this is the correct one.. If there are geeks out there, maybe one of you guys can verify this for me so I don't have to travel 90 miles round trip for nothing.

I'm just hoping that it's not fried!:gassy::hump::haha:

But I'm gonna leave after I do the playlist with my crew on GTA!

A geek has to have his priorities! :hump::hump::hump:

It's an NVME. Here's the same model # on amazon.

I just upgraded to one myself; was running my gaming hard drive on a portable disc drive (not SSD.) Was getting read/write speeds of like 150 mb/second. With the NVMe, you're going to likely see over 4,000+ mb/second read/write speed.

They are sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo fast.

That's a tiny drive though; you're going to want 1 or 2 TB.

Thanks for the confirmation. I've got a one terabyte in the new computer. This is just to get what I didn't have backed up off the old hard drive. I wuz a bit lazy in backups!
Here's the specs on the processor in the new computer.
Processor
Intel® Core™ i3-1125G4 (up to 3.7 GHz with Intel® Turbo Boost Technology, 8 MB L3 cache, 4 cores, 8 threads)

Not too bad for a year old model

I pulled the Volunteer pot out to get a little bit better pictures.

I see properties in both lineages in this big girl. I like her structure! with her structure the way the top cola is forming, the next time I grow one of these girls out and Asian haze, I'm going to top the girl. I've never done that to Asian haze. I think it would increase the production by quite a Sizable amount.

I'm reduced-gluten. She's going gluten-free. lol

I'll check out that website!

They upped our max snowfall to 13 inches overnight.
I get it but if she is gluten intolerant then the possible cross contamination may be enough to cause a reaction or worse the blame for cross contamination guilty or not!

Just take your household gluten free. Once you learn how and where to shop GF is not hard. You can eat all of the regular foods away from the house just don't bring it home on you.

... do not share this information with @Saltysparrows

Bob's Red Mill has a bunch of gluten free flours and products
Just a few years ago GF was difficult but nowadays there is a GF replacement for most everything, some stuff you still have to make for yourself but the ingredients are readily available. It is pricier for GF ingredients but I think justifiably so. The ATK GF pie dough is equally good as traditionally made dough. Ms. MOG bakes boxed GF cakes that no one notices as GF. Chick pea tortillas not as good as flour but no wheat and they are pretty good. The list goes on and on. Dr. Prager's GF patties, they have chilies I have to avoid but are they delicious or what?

Nobody here GF so I'm not familiar. Wife will go keto on and off. I was looking at the Bob's section today at the grocery store since the sourdough starter doesn't want to wake up, and noticed all the new gluten free stuff. I've used several other things from them in the past that have been good
