Thanks for the reps @Mossy. Unfortunately, mine isn't a case of the Januarys though. As with Ricks and Kings posts, too many checking out as of late.

Have been thinking about this part of of the life stage a lot this weekend. I'm 54 and like someone a few posts back said, you get to that age where it starts to happen around you all too often. No stranger to it, but damn....usually look at it like a kick in the ass and gets me to go out and experience new things and appreciate what I do even more. Been the opposite this week.

Time to flip the script, accept things without getting angry about it, and live it to the best!

May not be possible depending on your current pain, but a tolerance break will make the anesthesia more predictable and cleaner

Plus after a t-break you'll pribably be able to use weed to stop the opioids sooner.

That was my strategy for both my knee and hip and both times I didn't finish the prescription. Many years later I still have a bunch of oxycontin and hydromorphine pills!
