Hi everyone.

I have a short update on my absence. I was assaulted at work in early December. Got a brain injury/brain bleed from it. I have been back at home for a couple weeks and doing fine. I have some residual effects and I have a very hard time using screens for more than a few minutes.

I'll continue to get better but it's slow progress. I should be around more as my brain allows. Screen time is headaches and really hard to focus my vision still.

Ok that's it. Hope y'all are doing good and I'll be back soon-ish.

Well my best friend for the last 40 years passed away this weekend, he was 64. Met him on the first day of rookie school on the fire dept in 84.
Bothers me a lot more than I expected.
Sucks about getting old.

My best friend of 25yrs just passed. Its f@@@ing difficult. Been trying to keep busy to not dwell. My deepest condolence’s friend! My Least favorite part of getting older!
